Fridge Grow/Clone Box (with a twist)

I am gonna germinate 3 seeds very soon as I want them to pop on Jan 1st.
1- AK-47 and 1 Amnesia Haze and 1 ? that I got in a bud of really dank shit.
I am still not quite sure how I will train them.
Probably mainline the AK 47 as it is a more symmetrical plant structure.
The Haze I will most likely top a couple times and let her stretch all around the net.
We'll see if the third one even pops ???

Got my DWC tray almost done.
The location of the drain is still to be determined, I have to install a brace under the tray.
There will be a lot more weight/water in there.

I am watching you again with Great interest , and to see how your DWC works out, I hope you keep the side of the tub clear so we can see inside as the roots grow and spread, to get a real idea of whats going underneath ,, Yes I spray painted the wardrobe , it took 5 cans of high gloss, I had to re order my main fan today, I went with the german made Can Fan 6" and a variac speed controller, and a 14" carbon filter, I was hoping to have a report on how quiet I could make it with the expensive speed control, have to wait a bit longer to find out now, I Love AK 47, my fav part is that its mostly Sativa with just a hint of indica, I tend to enjoy the head highs where you can still get up and get things done,

My fan and filter arrive tommorow, and I hope to germinate within 2 weeks, I am so very interested in watching your new hydro set up, are you going to leave the tray see thru so we can see the roots?

The weight is gonna be light.
A lot of the buds are fluffy/larfy.
Looking at the pic I posted of the root systems (or lack thereof) you can understand that I had some problems.
This run will go much lighter on the nutes, I think I had some lock out issues.
This run will have better PH monitoring.
This run should produce the pretty root masses that I have drooled over on others grows.
We will be able to keep an eye on them because I will leave the sides clear and try to completely cover the top of the tray lid with reflective/insulative material (windshield screen) all the way to the sides and front to back so when the door is closed, minimal light will be able to reach the nute sauce.

hopefully you will harvest enough to keep you going until the next crop is done. its going to be great to see how your using the 2 level DWC set up, and its going to be good for us to see the roots , so your going to be able to change out the nuts because you have the lower res? and not disturb the scrog going on up above, if so this is why I am so interested in your new set up,

Exactly !
And i will do my add backs and PH adjustments via the drain (thru a trap door in the tray lid), with a temp piece of pipe added to insert my funnel.
For nute changes, I simply remove the drain riser tube and the top tray will all drain down into the res.

I am going to start a Part II/Sequel thread soon, but I will update and finish this thread as soon as I get my measly weigh-in.

Thanks much, its going to be sweet to watch you do another run in your fridge the last of my parts arrived today , I will start a thread for the wardrobe box ,I hope to get your input along the way.

You know what....? I am PRETTY STOKED !!!
Trimmed my buds off the stem this AM.
Started with the AK first.
Got it all trimmed and stuck it in a gallon zip, threw it on the scale and DAMN !
4.25 ounces !
Trimmed up the Amnesia next and it looked visibly like a lot less, but after bagging and weighing, it weighed 4.00 ounces !
So, 8.25 minus almost an ounce for the 2 gallon bags and that is 7.25 OUNCES !!!

I am a pretty happy camper !!!

CONGRATS !!! I was waiting patiently for those awesome numbers, the last thing I ever want to be is a "know it all", but I had this gut feeling based on those pictures that you were going to be happy, at least enough happy to keep you as "happy" as you wish to be until the next crop comes in, and just think, your going to ad to the weight all the more next time,, so very well done,

I love the fridge grow. Had one myself before.
