I learned about UVB and weed by watching a long video about how the best weed in the world comes from regions that are n the strongest sun belt, places like Mexico, So. Cal, Afganistan, etc.
The UVB in those regions is never turned off... right?
So, I put the Lizard bulb in from the beginning, since Oct 2nd and it is on the same timer as my MH/HPS lights.

Both strains are supposed to flower for 64 days, so that is Dec 20, 16 more days-ish.
I have to get a loupe for trichome inspection.

No don't flush, feed right to the end. harsh smoke all that stuff is bs. 48hrs dark before cutting is what I do.

Thing is, if you don't flush you might end up smoking your herb and getting some pretty dark ashes. That's from all the nutrients left behind in the plant.
By flushing it's not like you completely "clean" the plant inside. But you do contribute to diluting the nute salt build in the plant's leafs, buds and stems. Making for lighter ashes, and that usualy is an indicator of "good weed, well cared for".
I'd say flush it.

The other day I trimmed some hopeful little buds down low that were just not gonna be players, especially this late in the game.
I put them and the sugar leaves on the cable modem box and quick dried them.
Lately we have been smokin "Alaskan Thunderfuck" and it's pretty darn good.
The wife and I took 3 hits each of the "fresh" buds and we were FUCKED UP... er... I mean... HEAVILY MEDICATED !!!
I was sitting here trying to focus on the web page I was reading about CMH lamps and I was literally laughing out loud thinking how good this shit is gonna be after a PROPER drying and curing.

Take any info from me with a grain of salt, but I heard that if you chew on a leaf and it seems bitter, then flushing is a good idea. Should taste like pure sweet water. On my first grow, I stopped feeding 2 weeks before harvest, and watered a little more than usual (10% runoff) for that first week, letting them get quite dry during the second. I did not do the 48 hours of darkness thing. (Pic below is just before harvest)
