Freezing leaves for BHO making?

I understand the it is better to freeze the leaf material before making hash
with the ice and water method - but is it also good to freeze the leaves
before making BHO??

Yes makes trichomes come off a lil easier but check out concentrates and extracts thread

You just want the trichromes to get brittle, and break off.
If you freeze the leaf, then the whole leaf gets brittle, you get to much green in your Hash from your leaves breaking.
IMO- first batch don't mix it up much, let it soak for 20 minutes. run a second batch. mix it up more. That will be your lower grade hash.
Get a rope and hang your smaller mesh bags. let it drain on it's own.

You don't need trichomes to "break" off when you're making BHO, since you're using a chemical solvent to dissolve the compounds that get you high, often times leaving a hollow "shell" of the trichome in place, even though the good stuff's already been extracted.
