Freeze dryer? Is it worth the money for a small grower?

Greetings everyone that's a small grower I'm curious about a freeze dryer to try the perfect buds. I've noticed a lot of large companies freeze dry their product to lock in smell taste and bag appeal. Has anyone ever used a freeze dryer? I'm very curious to see the results

I myself have not heard of using a freeze dryer for use on flower. I don’t believe that is a thing.

The big guys use a freeze dryer to dry hash and preserve color/flavor as opposed to an air dry.

It's definitely not "worth" it from a money perspective. It's more like, a cool toy to have if you have lots of disposable income to spend on frivolous things that entertain you. I think they are pretty sweet. But you also have to consider, in this age of disposable electronics, what will you do if it craps out on you? They are super heavy items...I think...and can you find someone to repair it locally? A $2,000 item really isn't disposable, again, unless you have lots of cash.
