Free Power Skunk 4 0f 5 sprouted!

Hey everyone. This is my first grow. I started with 5 free power skunk seeds from g13 labs. They came from The Attitude Seed co. So for everyone who has searched for anything on these seeds and found nothing, Maybe this will help. I germed using the paper towel method. The seeds were really small. 4 out of 5 cracked and were put in 3 inch plantable peat moss cups filled with a mixture of moss, mushroom compost, perlite and lime for ph adjustment. im germing using 2 100 watt daylight 6500k cfls, (no more than 2 inches away). within 24 hours 2 were coming out of ground. 48 hours later and all were out of ground. i turned lights back from 24 and 0 to 16 and 8 last night. ( read that was a good light schedule for the first week or 2) . This is day 3. All 4 are at least an inch tall and have 2 sets of leaves. A couple showing the start of a 3rd set. I should have my 400 watt mh hps light this weekend as well as the fox farm soil trio nutes. Seeing how this is my first grow any advice and suggestions would be great.

i was wondering if those seeds were good or not,good deaI. i got severaI tubes of those seeds from purchases. wiII subscribe to your grow. need any advise , ask ,i'm on my 22 grow right now,chk out my journaI if you want. it may be informative for you.

hey man whats up? I am subscribing as well..I just placed an order yesterday through Attitude..are you in the states and if so how long did it take to get them? I ordered twice from Seed Boutique and once from Dr. Chronic and got them both..so I am anxious to see if this order comes..I want need the seeds for a while..but since they were giving the Power Skunk seeds away I figured what the heck that looked really good..so good luck and I will be watching for sure!..btw what other seeds did you order? I ordered the Greenhouse Color Coded Fem pack...and a Strawberry Cough Fem Seed..

Question. How soon should i have these little ones in bigger pots?

Hey superman. yeah im in the states. took 6 days from attitude. the freebies were all i ordered. i have more room in there though and want to add some more. thought about arjans strawberry haze,alaskin ice or himalayan gold. or DP strawberyy cough or power plant. I want a hi yeilding sativa that flowers fairly quick. and ine more question. say they advertise 400grams per meter squared indoors. does that not mean 400 grams per plant? i want like a pound per harvest.

I guess it all depends on the size of the plant. Certain strains get bigger and ect..but it also depends on your grow space and how long you veg. Its pretty simple...the longer you veg. the bigger your plants gets the more bud you get..but then the correct amount of light and stem size matters too..but since you are getting a pretty good light I imagine you will have a decent yeild. I hope so for you..so how did you just get the freebie seeds? Oh yeah are you putting an oscilllating fan in your grow area?..I have mine hooked up to my timer with the light..that has worked great for me..that way during the night cycle they are not stressed and can grow the stems nice and thick..

Ok guys. todays day 10. They slowed down growing 3 days ago or so and the bottom set of leaves are yellow. i noticed roots starting to come out of bottom of peat cups and thought is was time to transplant. transplanted to 5 gallon buckets 2 days ago and they have been under a 400 w metal halide for 4 days now on 18 and 6 light schedule. no nutes yet but im wondering if i should start. i have fox farm soil trio. the 4 individual pics are of today. PLEASE GIVE ADVICE

I'd wait about week before adding nutes.. were your free beans the smallest you have ever seen? mine are lol..

yeah they were. do they look ok though? am i doing any thing wrong? are you growing them?

how far are you plants from the light? do you have an oscillating fan in your grow area?..when I ordered seeds from seed boutique they sent me free seeds as well and they were the smallest seeds I have seen too..but i did get a couple of really nice plants out of them..so I wouldn't worry..but I completely agree with guudbud..I wouldnt give any nutes until they are atleast 3 weeks old and then introduce them like half strength or so..

What that usually means is under almost perfect conditions you can obtain 400 grams in a 3 by 3 area.

they look good to me I gave those seeds to a friend of mine and he said all 5 popped,I can't wait to see how they turn out for him and you..gl and keep us updated!!

OK guys. Day 15. (I think). Heres the update. After reading you guys comments and doing some serious thinking a light bulb flashed in my head. My potting soil mix didnt have hardly any nutrients in it ( other than the mushroom compost. So i went with my gut feeling and mixed up a couple gallons of 1/2 strength grow big and big bloom and watered each 5 gal bucket with a half a gallon. (that was 4 days ago.) WOW. By the end of the day i could tell a big difference. Take a look at pics. They have been going strong since. All are between 2 and 3 inches tall. My next question is this. The foxfarm suggests feeding every other watering on a weekly schedule. if it takes a 1/2 a gallon to get drips out of my pot. that would mean i would water 1/2 gallon every 3 to 4 days with nutes every other watering. Is this gonna be too much water or how do i need to adjust my watering schedule to fit the fox farm schedule. Honestly i thought a 1/2 gal of water a week would be sufficient. but then i would be using nutes every time if their supposed to have them every week. Someone explain this please. They havent had any water since the first set of nutes. The top is dry and 2 inches down or so is darker (still somewhat moist). I hope this isnt too much useless info i just want this to go right. Thanks in advance.

Sorry guys if theres anyone still subscribed. I Havent been on here in a while. Heres the update. Their a little over 6 weeks old vera a foot and a half tall. I topped them a couple of weeks ago. gonna swap to the HPS and the 12 on 12 off schedule within the next week. Heres a coupple of pics. Tell me what you think.

I completely agree with Kush...fo sure Sativa dominant..I like Sativa's..but I am still watching man..looking great!..

ay man im doing my PS thizzle right now 2, i was experimenting with them cause they are free i gave one a dissolvable b12 tablet wit the nutes one day and it exploded tht day and hasnt looked backed it looks like it could yeild twice the others if u want try it 4 yaself

hey looks like we planted ours about the same time. crazy how those tiny seeds turned into huge plants
