I get free samples from my local grow shop.

Mainly because they get new lines in and want them tested.

I've tried a few different brands.

Usually grow shops will have free samples within the store, it generally depends upon how much you're spending with them as to whether you'll get any.

Very true.

Personally I've never seen samples from companies that went straight to the end user. Unless you go to the GROW SHOW that is held annually.

They advertised a lot in a magazine called urban garden. Not sure if it was them that held the event.

Many nutrient manufacturers along with lighting, exhaust manufacturers etc that would give away samples to the end user.

Mostly though new suppliers or existing suppliers with new lines give samples to hydro shops and they get them to trusted end users to let them know their performance etc.

Firstly you use the nutes required at the stage of growth the plant is at.

You should mix everything you need into the water.

For example.
1litre of water add your grow nutes, your enzyme product, root stimulator or whatever else you need to add.

Start at 1/4 the recommended dosage on the nute labels.

You water your plants until you get some runoff out of the bottom.

Then you wait for the pots to loose around 50% of their wet weight and you repeat water them.

I doubt you will need to use any nutrients for at least the first 2 weeks depending upon what soil you're using and whether or not it has any nutrients in it already.

Please please please go over to the newbie forum and read some of the sticky threads at the top about growing.

It doesn't sound like you've read an awful lot as you don't know how to mix your nutes, neither do you know how to water.

Not trying to piss you off just want you to understand what you need to do to get a harvest regardless of how much you yield.

It's not that I don't know a lot... It's I've seen quite abit of different vids of people adding nutes and doing it differently to others so I was just getting bit confused at that but I was only meaning for a little pot that size I was query about giving the damn thing too much water lol.
