Fox news - Biased?

Perhaps you lean one way or the other?
If so, here is an online poll I received via e-mail that will allow you to voice your opinion.
Enjoy. GWN

Fox News was recently losing in an (National Public Radio) NPR Poll, but with the power of the Internet we can turn that around in a few hours.

If you haven't heard, the White House is accusing Fox News of not being a legitimate source of news, calling them biased, etc. They have tried to block Fox reporters from news conferences, etc., NPR has put a survey online for us to voice our opinion.

If Fox loses this poll you can bet Obama will mention it as support for his attack on Fox.

Let's show them how we feel about honest conservative news reporting.

To vote log onto:

Then ... forward this to everybody !

No. Never that. Not Fox. Of course they are, and have been for years along with all the other news. The most non-biased would probably have to be NPR in all honesty. They ARE the news source with the poll you're talking about.

Correct. And I realize the text of the thread is slanted towards Fox - the poll is not.
And I know Fox is biased, but the prob the administration has is its not their view so IMO they are trying to quash Fox.
Hell all of the news organizations are biased, knowing that you simply balance between the two and watch BBC for instance for some ballast.
Thats me tho.

Dude. NPR is probably the most liberally biased of all news outlets. Check your facts. No doubt fox leans right but MSNBC leans left as do most of the other mainstream news outlets. NPR is far from unbiased and I mean FAR!!!

I didn't post this to prove anyone is biased or not - I'm personally convinced that they all are. If you would like your opinion known in the poll then by all means hit the link. If not then don't.

These threads always get derailed. People are really passionate about their opinions on media bias.

I would be shocked if a poll of NPR listeners didn't say they thought fox was bad bad bad. What we have here is an attempt to suggest that an NPR poll of its listeners is a better gauge of fox's standing among the people than the ratings which are a direct reflection of the people's choices. Hillarious! Reminds me of when democrats after the 2004 election said the actual vote had to be wrong because it didn't match exit polling they had done. In other words, don't bother trying to vote with your ballot or your tv remote, we'll tell you what you think and what you like.

It's easy to say that all news outlets have a bias, MSNBC, FOX, CNN, etc.

But the problem with FOX, as "medmao" has said before: "I know I'm Biased and yes they(MSNBC) do bring on mostly left wing guests, but I've yet to catch them making shit up and presenting it as truth like Fox. If anyone disagrees with that statement, please present your facts. Thanks in advance."

The thread was not initiated for argument - if you wish to do that then start one yourself.
Thank you.

then prepare to be amazed, at this point nearly 90% have sided with fox. i'm sure that there are many, like our resident rebel without a clue, that will claim the poll is fixed, but i think it only goes to show that even the most liberal audience realizes the value of an opposition press. the opposition is what keeps those in power relatively honest and this administration has shown that it has no desire for honesty.

If the poll is correct it only proves there are over a million dummies out there ... and explains why some people are so politically :dunce:nothing more.

All corporate news is bias now ... only fauxnews has never been or never will be a real news outlet. At least the others can claim they were at one time ... but none of them are worth a damn now.

I doubt that it's a poll of it's listeners. More likely a poll instigated by right wing bloggers, like the guy that started this thread. I'm pretty sure this site is getting the rep as being a right wing based site.

And you assume you know me - - but you don't.
I began this thread as unbiased as possible to give anyone and everyone an opportunity to register their opinion.

At one point it wasn't. I really don't listen to, or watch any of it anymore. It's all garbage.

Bro, that's just how the med man rolls. Don't let him offend you.
You're right, perhaps I'm thin skinned or just took it wrong.
Med, I apologize for the flame.
And hope all had a great Veterans day! Any and all, if you are one, thank you for your service.

Here are the latest results of the poll.

Thank you for voting!

The White House on this one; Fox News isn't "fair and balanced." 12% (236,392 votes)

Fox News on this one; it asks questions others don't and the White House should be able to handle them. 87% (1,735,730 votes)

Neither side. They're both trying to play this "feud" to their advantage. 1% (27,158 votes)

Total Votes: 1,999,280

Well using logic, and assuming you read the results, it would only make sense that you were of the righ wing persuasion. I doubt any lefty would post this poll, it would fly in the face of leftism. I find it hard to believe an NPR (Left leaning) station would get these results in a poll. Doesn't make sense, so ya, it makes more sense that some righty blogger would take up the poll and foist it on his site, just like you did. I could be wrong, I was wrong once before. Once, when I thought I was wrong, I was wrong, LOL, happy motoring.
