Yup, too hot for some younger plants to take. Good soil but you need to start in weaker soil and let the roots grow into the ocean forest during veg. Even buffer around root ball when transplaning with 1/2 Ocean Forest and 1/2 starter mix.

Don't worry about it, just snip the yellow leaves, if you want to, and your plant will be fine. No food for 2.5 weeks, and all looks good.

I always amend mine with at least 1/3 perlite and some dolomite lime then run some water through it a couple times. It's worked for me so far. I have even started seeds in it with great results. I've heard all the posts about it being hot though.

Actually I think the water makes it worse, starts releasing all that N in the soil. Wait as long as you can between watering.

I'ven been starting my seedlings in dr earth, and they look great. Once I move them over to FFOF they start getting N toxicity every time.

Watering makes it worse when it is a time release nutrient soil. That isn't what this is. A heavy watering with maybe 20% run off would help, not hurt. I would not go so far as to do a full flush, I think they will adapt.

Yep you fuzzed 'em up a little bit. Looks to me like they are growing through it in fine fashion. Nice looking plants, perfectly watered. Good erect structure. In a couple weeks you will have forgotten all about this, she's "over it".

Thanks for the comments everyone . Plants are fine now . No biggie . Definitely watered ( rolls eyes ) . The plants grew as seedlings in solo cups filled with the same soil I used when I transplanted them . Although they were two different bags of ocean forest ( scratches head )? Maybe this could have also contributed . Different batches maybe. Either way they are healthy as a horse and my first ever topping journey will commence soon . Thanks for everyone's help on the matter ;)

Happy Frog from FF, is for seedlings, clones etc.
any soil has Nutes, so don't add Nutes when planting in fresh soil.

I never once asked for any advice:wall:
Sorry, my mistake. I apologize for intruding on your Fox Farm Ocean Forest WARNING

Usually people that post in "Marijuana Plant Problems" have a problem they are seeking advice on.

I see that this is not always the case.

its good of you to warn other users of what does and doesnt work, I would do the same thing. Not everyones grow is exactly the same, what so many seem to forget.

So a heads up on negative results, and posting what happens with your experience is a good input into the community.
