Fox Farm Trio Nutrients Confusion

Hello

First time grower here and I recently got three bottles of Fox Farm Nutrients (Grow BIg, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom) and I'm having massive difficulty understanding what to do. People have said do about 1/4 of what the Fox Farm Feeding schedule says and I was wondering if thats true. Also, Im not understanding how to actually administer the teaspoons themselves. Do I add all of the teaspoons of nutes into one gallon of water? How often do I water with the nutrient solution? When do I water with strictly water and no nutrients? When do I know which watering needs nutrients and which watering needs plain water? What if the soil dries up quicker than anticipated which watering method do I use? My plant is in its third week of above ground so would I just start in with the 3rd week on the schedule at 1/4 strength? Im growing Feminized Lemon Kush from Herbies in Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil. Hope somebody can clear this up cuz im kinda stressing reading about all this shit

Yes, feed @ 1/4 strength at start.
Yes, add nutes to water in a gal, never mix nuts together without water.

I don't feed anything for the first few weeks in Veg if using FF soil, just some Big Bloom every once in a while.

When I go 12/12 I use nutes every other feeding or even every third, depends on how plants look.
Good luck

I use FF for 3 yrs now:
1st Q...are you in flower or veg?
2nd..when did you pot into OF soil?
3rd...what size pot?
answer those, I may have more Q's

I am currently in veg and I put into OF as soon as my seed germinated. Seed went from distilled water then taproot came out and i placed directly into OF and its been there ever since. Plant is currently still in solo cup but I was thinking about transplanting into a 3 gallon pot in a few days. Eventually the plant is going into a 5 gallon bucket

So do I have gallons that only have Big Bloom and gallons that only have Tiger BLoom and gallons that only have Grow big in them? How do I water when they call for multiple nutes in the same watering cycle?

No, all in one gal. All three in same gal together.

Make sure to keep PH after adding nutes around 6.3 to 6.8

Then no need to feed, OF will feed up to 6 mths EDIT: 6 wks!. If you add any nutes during this time and especially after transplant will burn your plants up in a hot minute. Once I start seeing yellowing I pot up (solo to half gal to 5 gal or greater). By that time my plant is cpl feet tall and ready to flip in a few weeks (after nute reg and flowertime it will grow to 4 ft) I start on week 4 of the FF feeding schedule. I have alot of stretchy strains so I will do a preflower treatment (wk4 on feeding chart) let em stretch a bit, cut back stretch and/or take clones and then place them into the flower room.
You ph your water to closer to 7.0 (FF like closer to 7) then add your nutes into your gallon bucket. I recommend the soluables also for flower. You will also need to supplement cal/mag (FF lacks cal/mag, calimagik is a fast acting product) every feeding.
Also, give your girls just enough water for 2 days worth..the feeding schedule says feed 2x's a week but i only recommend 1x (2x's only for outdoor). So you will feed, water water, feed etc. At full dose! The only time I done a half dose was a fussy sativa I have needs a 2nd feeding in the middle of the week. YOu will learn to read after a run of FF nutes and the info here.

If all 3 in the same gallon then how do I only feed certain nutes in certain weeks when it doesnt call for all 3 nutrients?

Same question for you. After week 4 and I have to start lightly feeding, why would I add all of the nutrients to one gallon? Some weeks call for certain nutrients at different strengths than other weeks so how would that work out?

Ive seen that chart a million times and have 2 printed off.. So your saying I dont need to feed until week 4?
Yes.
I don't. Chart, says to feed only Big Bloom for the first 2 weeks, I do that till I go 12/12(4weeks) or only if I see they need it. It's best to under feed than to over feed IMO.

Think of the chart as a guide, it's not written in stone.

Depends on when you start flower. Save your nutes for flowertime only when you are using FF soils that have nutes IN them. Once the soil has been exhausted either pot up or give a feeding. Dont ever veg feed with the Tiger of course thats for flowertime. Confused? lol

You said you only have the trio so... I recommend getting the boomerang, microbe brew, kangaroots and the soluables to complete a run and of course the cal/mag

So try to break it down when I should use Grow Big, Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. I understand grow big is for vegetative tiger bloom is for flowering and Big Bloom is more or less used for the entire process. And im still not understanding how adding all three nutrients into one gallon works. For example week 4 calls for all 3 nutrients when week 6 calls for only 2 of the three. Would I need different gallons at different strengths to follow this? Im trying to flower in the next two to three weeks so I shouldnt feed any nutes until flowering? And when I feed during flowering it should be at 1/4 strength on every other watering? im CLEARLY a newbie so bare with me here

Its cool Im barin with ya;) I was overwhelmed by it at 1st...then I was like holy shit..theres more haha. Id feed full strength. Repot NOW so the nutes in the soil can be used up a bit before adding the flower nutes. Yea just measure out all 3 into the gallon jug and water. I just noticed the chart i posted is old, find the newest one with the 2 other nutes they added to it( kelp me and holy mackrel). The measurements have slightly changed. Use the latest measurements for feeding

Should I repot into a 1 gallon container? Half gallon? And just to confirm.. when I initiate flower I go by the chart at 1/4 strength? 1/2 Strength?

Id go full steength. But you do whats best. If you are putting into flower in a few weeks I would put it into the final pot. I dont know how big your plant is tho
