fox farm soils

ok, well ive used fox farm happy frog for outdoor grows before. it worked great, no nute burn, good drainage, plant grew fast.

now i have the fox farm ocean forest soil, and i have a seedling in it. is this soil to hot for seedlings? any first hand expirence? the guy at the hydro store said it would be fine for seedlings, but my seedling looks slightly yellowed on the tips.

the seedling was in organic miracle grow for a couple days before transplanting it into the good stuff. the mg was junk and had wat looked like mycellium growing everywhere in the soil when i dumped it out. i cleaned the container with rubbing alcohol then replaced with the fox farm and washed the seedling clean and put it in the soil. it was shocked for a day or two but its growing its next set of leaves so i guess its gettin comfy in its new home.

should i flush to cool off the soil?

Ive used FFOF for my youngest seedlings and they do great. I think the yellowing is left over from the MG. No need to add nutes for 3-4 weeks.

ive used the o.f. potting soil for seedling and didnt have a problem but since then ive switched to sunshine mix number 4, but idk if flush would help... if i remember right there wormcastings and a bunch of other stuff that just isnt gonna wash out... it should bounce back a pic would help

thanks for the input guys! glad to hear the soil isnt to harsh for yall's babys.

id put a pick up but my pit ate my camera..... :( that dog could eat all my stuff and id still love him lol

I also useFFOF for my seedling with no problems it is the MG soil you used that yellowed the leafs
