Fox farm ocean forest soil and light warrior soil

hey all,
im about to grow some autoflower plants and picked up 4 bags of fox farm ocean forest soil and 1 bag of light warrior soil. I heard it was good to mix these soils because it wont burn seedlings. My question is how much Light warrior should i mix with my ocean forest mix(in gallons if possible). I was going to try to mix that 1 bag of light warrior between the 4 bags of ocean forest, would i have enough light warrior? Anyone have any similiar experiences with the matter? If so, +REPS.

Hey there, a lot of people start seedlings in FFOF.
You should be fine with your ratio.. I've never mixed anything into FFOF except perlite when I thought that FFOF was really hot or something.. I've found that it is fine for seedlings..

FFOF is fine. No one sells potting soil at all that isnt safe for seedlings. What sense would that make?

Fox Farm has been haveing qualiity control issues & would be good to be cautiuos. I've used O.F. at a 3:1 ratio w/ L.W. Better yet mix it 50/50 w/ sunshine promix 4 w/ mycorrhizae, the mycro-funguys go nuts for that organic soil.

just straight up Happy Frog seems to work wonders for seedlings! and is hella cheaper that light warrior :mrgreen:

Who says they are having qc issues?

I'd just use the LW for popping seeds and rooting clones, then transplant to the ocean forest.

I use anywhere from 100% Fox Farms OF to 30%FF OF/70% Fox Farms original planting mix... From seed only 5 diff. strains so far, and all have shown awesome results

I usually use 1/2 Ocean forest, 1/2 Light warrior.

I used straight FFOF last grow with trio nutes along with other bud enhancers with no issues but this grow I filled my 5g fabric pots with FFOF then I took a solo cup and dug out center and added Light Warrior that way my seedlings can grow into the nutrient rich FFOF so wish me luck
