fox farm nutrient trio

Honestly, the only fox farms products I use are big bloom & ocean forest soil. As soon as my gallon of big bloom is gone, I'll switch to a nutrient tea. Better & cheaper...
Ocean forest is perfect for young plants. Just give em water & they will do great. Drains good too, which helps prevent overwatering.

I too, am using ocean forest and totally agree. Perfect for the first 3 wks or so. Seems like after that my girls start to go down hill. So I'm swearing off ff nutes after this grow. I'm going to compost some super soil and see how well that works.

The super soil recipe is complicated & always changing. Do you add soft rock phosphate or not? Only if it was mined in Tennessee??? Give me a fucking break.
The easiest mix would be something like:
1 block promix hp (already has pearlite & lime)
2 small bags of compost from home depot
2 bags special kitty all natural from wal mart (calcined clay)
1/2 box of bio live
Ph should be fine & no need to cook.

Im being torn in so many directions lol. There are so many ways to grow it's unreal. That super soil did look like a pain in the ass. Not to mention having to cook it from 30 to 60 days

To the people saying ocean Forrest goes down hill I totally agree give the happy frog a shot add some more perlite and lime to it and can begin feeding right away full strength if you like I've had zero issues since switching 4 cycles ago

I didn't know this about ocean forest. What I did anyways without knowing this info was blend ocean forest and happy frog together ato 2 to 1 happy frog. This ratio has seemed to work well for my whole garden. My tamtillos are growing like crazy with this soil blend. And my girls are doing good too. In this hot California summer they are needing water every other day now
