Fox Farm - Feeding Schedule Questions?

I have Fox Farm Trio Pack, but can't figure out how much food to give. I've read numerous threads and they all say different things. My medium is soil btw. I've read this: http://foxfarmfertilizer.com/soilfeed.pdf

Question 1: What is this talk about feeding 1/4 strength and 1/2 strength, and how would I go about implementing it with my feeding schedule?

Question 2: If I am growing 15 plants outdoors, in 2 gallon pots how much more Nutrients should I get?

Question 3: On the feeding chart it says Feed With Every Other Watering above solubles and on the right. Is this for soil or hydro?

Misc. Question 4: I didn't want to make a new thread for this, but: How would I go about preventing bugs, fungus, and others shit like that off my plants? I've heard a few things about Neem Oil. Would Neem Oil work throughout the grow from Veg - Harvest? What about animals? How would I keep them away?

1) they say 1/4 so you dont burn your plants, check how they react to each water with nutrients and raise until full strength. 2)all depends on temp.,some might have 2 water with nutrients twice a week if growing in hot area. 3)soil but they also have one for hydro.4)dont know sorry, hope it helped

follow the grow schedule,my second grow(first real grow)i will mix dolomite lime to help ph,also add ca mg plus around 4th or 5th week and i think i will have corrected my problems last time,oh and ive heard to keep up with the grow big when it says to stop just 1/4 strength.my plant was a purple kush bagseed so i couldnt try different things, but it was some knock out ass weed.

Feed quarter strength for two feeding, half strength for 2 feedings, full strength the rest of the feeds. Except for Big Bloom - you can go full strength out of the gate with the BB. Don't feed seedlings at all - they should be 2-3 weeks old before you begin feeding.

Question 2: If I am growing 15 plants outdoors, in 2 gallon pots how much more Nutrients should I get?

Depends on weather, humidity, sun etc. You will need 1-2 tablespoons per gallon for the nutes. You can buy quarts or gallons. Just buy quarts to start to see how far it goes imo.

Question 3: On the feeding chart it says Feed With Every Other Watering above solubles and on the right. Is this for soil or hydro?

both i think, soil for sure. (i'm a soil grower)

i can't help - sounds like you are growing outdoors. i grow indoors.

Thanks :) I'm a little confused:wall: on the feeding still  Could you please explain it like Week 1 - 12: Feed Or Regular Water:?:

(if i understand your question) every other time you water, feed water with nutes

like i said, i grow indoors, and my plants need water about every 3 days, sometimes every 4 days

so, like

Monday, water
Thursday, nutes
Sunday, water
Wednesday, nutes
Saturday, water
etc.

i think that's what you were asking.

I would never use Fox Farm again that feeding schedule burned the crap out of my plants
What strain were you growing??? I'm just curious because I use the full FF line up and it has worked out great for me, with no nute issues at all. I grow mostly Indica-heavy strains (currently Dinafem Power Kush, Barney's Farm LSD, Ceres Orange bud, and WOS Skunk-47) so that might be a difference since I've been told that sativa's tend to be a bit more nute sensitive. Did you go full-strength from the get-go? I do with some strains (the Ceres Orange bud LOVES heavy nutes!!!) but generally it's best to ease the plants into the whole nute cycle.

i've used Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom and Grow Big successfully for quite a while. but you are right, it's not hard to burn 'em and it's quite a setback. a conservative approach and careful monitoring is a good policy.

what nutes do you like WhiteRhino?

When you just start growing or are growing a strain that you've never worked with its always best to start with a lower then suggested concentration of nutrients. It's tempting to start with aot since most newbies think 'more = bigger/better' but that's not the case. You have to learn what the plants you grow like and tailor your feeding to it. It's not one size fits all.

shame bro, i have huge fat plants and i'm fox farms all the way. different strains require different nute requirements and you have to build the nutes up as with any nutes one would buy.

just wondering what the numbers in the boxes mean in that schedule is says Grow big week 2 and then in the grow big column a number 2? or big bloom has a bunch of 6's

what's up y'all new to the site here but thought I'd throw my two cents in, I've been using fox farms do years in soil, hydro (ebb & flow currently now) and even aeroponics (tended to clog misters) and I would have to say I am very happy with the results I have but remember there's more to their line then just the trio pack now yes your plants will survive and most will flourish well but it's like if you were to eat just steak every night and no vegetable you'd survive but your probably not reaching your full potential. just my two cents though
