Just curious how many people on here use or have used fox farm nutes. Experiences? Do's and don'ts?? Use the full set or just a few?

i see a lot of growers making the mistake of stopping the N part of the formula when they hit flower, and then they get a huge deficiency.
other than that, they have a good line of nutrients in the hands of the right grower.
I use dyna grow foliage pro as a 1-part nutrient for both veg and bloom, and works fantastic

I personally have not used FF but have seen some very positive results from those using them.
They are a bit expensive and can be a touch hot especially for the young seedlings, may be best to start with straight soil
Dr. Jekyll

Over priced and highly marketed that can be dangerous if fallen into the inexperienced grower's hands, might be less hassles to KISS

I use the whole FF line up (Grow Big, Tiger Bloom @ 2 tsp per gallon & Big Bloom @ 1tbsp per gallon) and the Trio of Solubles (Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, & Cha Ching @ 1/2 tsp per gallon) never had a problem, at the most i needed to add cal-mag due to them getting deficient.

Also i grow clones so the seedling part i cant vouch for thought id mention that.

I am just now finishing my first grow with the full line up (3rd grow overall). I grabbed everything listed on the schedule on the ff website and stuck to it as close as I could. The only problems I ran into were due to having to veg for 6 weeks instead of 4 in order to fill the SCROG I had them under. I ended up with a light burn because I went a little to long before flushing them with the sledgehammer. I even had the Flower Kiss spray on supplement. I stopped using it when I went into flower. I started to notice what looked like mag def. so I started spraying again. I was worried about spraying with buds, but I kept it light and no mold. And the def went away. All in all my best grow so far but I am still getting started. Will probably stick with FF because the schedule just makes it so easy.

I'm brand new here and only been growing in soil for about 18 months... but I've been using Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom the whole time with good results. I usually start at half of the feeding chart recommendation and work up from there with each set of plants. Grow Big can be a little bit spicy for young plants, so proceed with caution. If you're growing in soil you probably won't need to add much (if any) Grow Big for the first couple weeks. I have to add cal-mag throughout veg and bloom to keep the plants from getting deficient.

Go with half of what they recommend for feedings and you'll do much better. I have personal experience using their recommended schedule and it pushes many plants a little past their limit. Much better results at 40-50% what they recommend. Clean water and a little Clearex in final two weeks - no more products.

I am using a soilless medium and waited about two weeks after potting them before I feed them any. They were actually starting to stunt and turn yellow waiting in food. Also using distilled water. So the plants have nothing but h2o unless I give it to them.
