four 600w in 10x10

Will four 600w be enough light for a 10x10 space?

how are you going to get to the plants in the middle? and no, they will only cover a 8x8 space. you should do 2 rows of 4x8. that way you have a little room to manuever.

you can space them a little further apart on the 2 sides of the reflectors that face eachother. so you could essentially do a 4x9 row. footcandles are stackable so those 2 lights will stack footcandles where they both face eachother.

I am planning an expansion to a 10x10 room. Thinking about 3 600W HPS on each side of the room, each light over a 3x3 scrog.
With an aisle down the middle to work.
Each side of the room would be a 6 bucket RDWC setup.

that sounds decent, but what about maybe making a continuous 5'+ wide screen between your rows of lights and using their fringe lighting to overlap in the center? you'd be doing about the same thing your way if you have really good reflective walls. if you built 4 rolling tables, you could use the space between the lights better as well as rotate your plants or easier access and more even lighting across your screens. i really like that idea in spaces too small to get into at least. if you rotate your screens, it would even be easy to do a perpetual harvest one side at a time. i'm just using about a 3x5 SCROG with 2 x 400w HIDs & 4 rows of depth with access on both sides. it's easy enough to reach back one 10" or so row at a time.

I am currently running 4 600 in my room right now. It gives me a lot more room to move around. Just a little something to think about.
