I'm about to harvest in a week or two. Cut off the nug I found it in and threw it away because i'm weird about the germs it touched. I still have a lot of good nugs though.

Seriously? Uh... why? That has got to be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard... You do realise plants are organic, as you are, covered in bacteria - humans are 90% bacteria... I don't mean to come across as a troll, far from it. I'm not into starting online fights. But this really has be gobsmacked. I fully understand the concern about certain bugs/animals being vectors for disease, but a caterpillar is fairly damn innocuous isn't it? End of the the day, it's you're plant, and you are in charge of quality control - just think this was an over reactionCut off the nug I found it in and threw it away because i'm weird about the germs it touched.
Ignore him, bugs are gross and leave gross germs. You don't want the bud it touched. But don't throw it away, that's sketch. Give it to me, I'll dispose of it via incineration, it's really the only solutionSeriously? Uh... why? That has got to be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard... No worries wazooboo, a single caterpillar is not a huge issue, just examine the plant for additional pests.I'm about to harvest in a week or two. Cut off the nug I found it in and threw it away because i'm weird about the germs it touched. I still have a lot of good nugs though.
No worries, figured that might be the case about it being too late. But early on neem oil might not kill caterpillars but it certainly repels them, I have used neem oil to stop 'pillars and snails from eating stuff in my non-cannabis garden for years, it works like a miracle. Doesn't kill em but they won't crawl over it and they won't eat leaves that are sprayed with it. Might be something for him to consider for next grow if the 'pillars are still a problem early on.Waaay too late for neem....it wont even kill caterpillars....not talking shit Ace just fwiw....need some monteray spray spinosad that will get em....I think its too late for that too personally....only 2 weeks left....
