Found about 4-5 seeds that all look viable. A couple from a WW fem and a couple from a RKO regular photoperiod. Im sure this has been asked a hundred times but not sure how to search for this one.....................................

If there are no males and the plant didnt outright hermi since there are so few seeds......Does that meen the seeds i got from them will most likely produce female plants?????????????????

Sure would be nice because the breeder never released RKO in feminized and i loved his bud. Cant buy this strain anymore either because a commercial grower bought the rights to it.

Either something hermed or one of your neighbours plants accidentally pollinated it can be the only two possibilities and id say that self pollination is the most likely one it might have had a few "stealth nanas" in there that can be hard to spot in which case the herm traits in the beans it produced chances are cos when you s1 something the recessive traits from the parent become dominant in the progeny so if it has a reccesive herm trait it wont be so recessive in the beans u found chances are

At least 1 came from an inside plant. Pretty sure all came from 3 plants i either let go longer or partially chopped. The others were in my greenhouse.

I did see a couple nanners on the older plant. Ive only grown a couple seeds like this and both ended up as females and did not hermi. Asking others locally i get about 50/50 responses as hermi/feminized.

They most likely will be female. The plants will try to self preserve themselves through a process called rodelization, especially if you stressed them (partially harvesting), and also let them go weeks longer..

That is what i did on 2 indoor plants. Only one produced a seed or two. The other has been seedless sofar and i have very little of that bud left. The seed from the RKO regular was just a plant in the greenhouse i let go a tad too long while i recovered from covid AGAIN.

Not all that concerned with the 98 Aloha WW fem but the RKO reg was great bud and the seeds are hard to come by now.

Thanks

I will wait until summer. Too much on my plate atm. Trying autos for my main winter grow and 1 fem i wanted to test before summer. Same breeder and situation. He sold both strains to Vibe canna and no longer offers those seeds. So ive cropped and cloned the one test plant. Gunna swap it to 12/12 a little bit early and see how it goes.

If i even thought they might have full hermied i would trash them for sure. I was really quick getting the 2 males out last year so im pretty certain it was a few nanners.

Thanks again

Feminized seeds are more likely to self-pollenate then standard seed and kicking out 5 or 10 seeds is not unusual and in fact can save a strain if the clone fails. A few seeds are quite OK. More than a few is where you have issues and think about tossing that strain. 5 seeds is OK 50 and up "Houston we have a problem".
They will be female plants as that is all she had to work with. Her own genetic material.

Ok well if the male flowers are on a different part of the plant from the female ones its technically not a true herm thats monecy like with hemp its usually monoecious whereas a true 100%herm will have male flowers on the same parts as the female flowers unfortunately sex in cannabis isnt so clear cut as some think.

Ive been told that before also. If i had a seedy plant of even a buds worth i probably would not bother with growing them just to be safe....So few seeds though...yeah gunna have to try later.

I do have 5 of the original seeds left so i got a plan B.

Finally got in touch with Tree1Four about it since its his creation. He says most likely will produce females but avoid stress or it will do it again. One plant was in the brutal heat of the greenhouse all summer and a tad late to harvest. The other was inside but stressed from a partial harvest.
