Found a horn @ 51 day's of 12/12, what to do next?

Hay guys i have 2 femmed bubblicious plants at 51 days flower, noticed last night that my biggest plant had shown a yellow horn or banana in the main cola.

I kinda expected it after my timer swich failed and left the lights on for 18 or 19 hours or so a few days ago. Its a cheap segment timer, the rotor motor totally stopped working.

The fault with the timer is now sorted & i tweezered the horn last night.

How much damage will have been done with the timer fault? the buds are nearly fully formed and white with cristals and i have no sign of balls anywhere.

Should i just let the plant finish now, i recon another 15-20 days and itl be done. how long does it take from pollonation to seed formation?

Will this lower the potency or just stop it from improving?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I'll post pics when lights come on in a few hours.

I would just let it grow. Keep an eye open for any more bananas that may pop up. I've been growing bagseed for a while now, and 3 of my 4 strains have a tendency to grow bananas late in flowering. I simply pluck them off with tweezers, and I haven't had any seeds form. Just make sure you inspect them on a regular basis.

think i'll get a twice a day check going down with teeezers at the ready, do the horns produce pollen or will they turn to balls and produce pollen as time goes on?

thanks for the advice guys, i'm well happy with how my first grow has gone so was a little disappointed when i found the lights on when it should have been night, put my mind at rest, as you can imagine i was all up for cuttin it all last night, calmed down a bit now.

i'll post some pics shortly, reps all round.

unless you have it around other plants that are early in flowering its no big deal. clean up the room after its done before you put more in just incase. oh and they pop open and drop pollen everywhere which gets blown around everywhere if you have good airflow
