found a home made CO2 tank?

k... I found a CO2 tank made from scatch on youtube. It's made of sugar, east and two seperete botttles one with ingriedents and hot water. What ya think about this? Has any one made their own CO2 tank from scatch? I got this one to work but my question is do ya think it's okay to use for a closet grow room 2 by 4? P.s. first stage ever in flowering... and just getting to know more about CO2. thanks

No, i bake bread and use yeast, its completely useless at suppling any meaningfull quantity of Co2 plus yeast is slow to start and quick to burn out. You might try raising a loaf of bread with it though. Peace

I knew it was funny and might be to dumb but I had to ask like I said I seen it on you tube and it was on weed plants.

Only run Co2 on fast growing healthy plants or it is a waste. Yeast is a single celled organism, just how much Co2 do you think its gona pump out? Plus it increases in population so quick it will have burnt itself out in a few hours. All the Co2 you need is in the air and plants get enough, it dosent make bigger plants it just allows the plant to work more if all other conditions are right. Peace

thanks! I just wanted to get a suggestion... I came across the vid on youtube and I always see or hear about CO2 in a indoor grow room. This is my first grow and I'm in the first month of flowering and I been slowly investing for all my products etc. for the grow room... I'm just want to know if its really all that! Does it really make that big of a difference...plus I hear it can be bad for your health?

CO2 can kill you so it's advised to get an alarm of some kind if you ever have a serious setup. I'm just a newb, but I would make sure to do it right (and safe). It can make a large difference from the shows I have seen though for what it's worth. Still, might be best to avoid it on your first few tries until you get a good feeding schedule worked out etc.

Most C02 systems i have seen are electronically controlled and adjust the ppm of C02 in the air to optimun. Only when you have good growth with few if any problems can you add C02 for max growth.

With max light, water, temps, humidity and nutes C02 is the limiting factor. In most growers cases deficiency or other problems are the limiting factor and extra C02 wont make any difference. Peace
