yes and no, it is believed(i dunno if its true for sure) that a plant that comes from a female that was pollinated by a female that had hermied pollen it will either be hermie or female, some strains supposedly take better to this than others i hear. the other way to make for sure fem seeds is much more complicated(imo), you take a bunch of for sure female plants and fuck up their lights cycle a bunch(not sure of the specifics) and after like a month or so of that you look for a TRUE female that cannot hermie, you then take some stuff called colodial silver-( spelled wrong probally, i'll post a link to the growfaq artice on it so you can find out the specifics of all of it after this post) to make them grow balls, then pollinate another TRUE female(might work w/just normal fems, not sure) and you get feminized seeds

i thought a seed couldnt be a hermie and only conditions made hermie's , if a seed could be a hermie that would explain alot of people getting them that buy feminized seeds

genetic hermies are hermies from the genetics, which a seed has pre-determined when formed. most hermis are from stress, but some are gonna go hermie no matter what you do from the genetic code inside the plant(d.n.a.? or is plants dna called something else?)

I have strains that put off bananas late in flower. They do not form round pollen sacks nor do they open up. My favorite strain (Headband) only pushes out a few bananas, and I usually can just pluck them off. I will get 1 or 2 seeds per plant.

I have a new strain (Hijack) through off a bunch of bananas...remember they do not even swell and open...but they do fall off if left too long...EVERYTHING is lightly pollinated....If you had a true hermaphrodite...rather than the late term sexuality questioning...and had actual staminate flowers that opened up...you are for sure pollinated (and early enough to make big seeds) and you should sh!t can IT's clones.

Sorry dude.

Hayduke when you have strain that you really like and it throws off banana's you should use Dutch Master Reverse and Penetrator. The stuff works great if you use it before you get the banana's...
