What is the criteria for becoming a mod?

i have alot of experience in helping out forums use to me a moderator on the now deceased demonoid
have a lot of knowledge in html/php and the running's of the back end of vBulletin forums

would love to contribute to the forums and give back some of the knowledge it has taught be over the last 2 years and keep the trolls and spam away to keep the boards as informative as possible
