Forcing auto to flower with 12/12

When you force a non-flowering auto to flower using 12/12, can you revert back to 18/6 after it gets going? Or, will that cause it to hermie or revert back to veg?

I have one that isn't flowering. It's from a seed I got from an auto that hermied a little at the end of flower (stress). It produced 5-10 seeds. I thought the risk would be that it would herm, not that it would lose it's auto characteristic. :)

About 2 weeks ago I cut the light for 5-6 days and it began to flower. Put it back under 18/6 and it seems to have stopped. It's vegged a little more, and node spacing is very small compared to prior veg growth. Looks weird. It doesn't seem to have hermied. I put it back to 12/12 tonight. Just wondering if I have to leave it there, or if I can increase at some point during flower.

I have one auto currently in 12/12. I had it 18/6 for a long time. Was starting to show flowering. But because I had to flips some photos due to their size, the auto was also flipped. She seems to be doing better at 12/12. I will show you some pics. I am not going to put it back to 18/6. I'd think that would cause stress. She will finish as is. And still looks a long way from finishing at that. My opinion is that she has more of the genetics from a photo period plant than an auto. I don't know the strain.
