Forced to harvest a medium sized og kush plant over three days

Due to an emergency I was forced to leave a plant right after starting my harvest on her. Only had an opportunity to harvest approx 2 oz's (of approx 5oz's).Unfortunately the plant was left sitting out in 100degree weather for two straight days.

Upon arriving home, the plant looked ok but I thought it would be a good idea to give it some hose water as it was looking a bit too dry. I'm thinking this was a bad mistake.Left it for an hour to put the originally dried 2oz's into jars-they came out ok.

Then I started to harvest the plant again. It wasn't quite as easy to trim as it was when I first started to harvest. Put another oz onto hangers and into the drying zone. Suddenly the aforementioned emergency became acute again and off I was for another day leaving my poor girl 60% harvested and sitting in very hot sun once again.

I know, I know, why didn't I put the plant somewhere out of the extreme heat? Well, the emergency calls were that serious-drop everything and race out the door. Everything is ok,thank heavens.

So I'm back to my plant and have to finish harvesting it tomorrow.

I guess my question is,did I really screw up my previously lovely bud? Was the plant damaged by the extreme heat after it was stressed by harvest. Will the bud be ok to smoke or weird? I'm a newbie so don't think my questions are too idiotic.lol.oh, I forgot, was watering it after I got back a poor choice?

thanks

yeh, it'll be fine. I often let the pots dry out prior to chop. Speeds the drying process some.
So I should not have given it water to "perk it up" after the harvest was interupted and restarted? Just want to be clear on my end.

thanks for the responses,everyone.

the fan leaves were very droopy and thought some water might perk up the plant so the leaves would be easier to trim off.As I said,I'm a newbie. thanks for the clarification.
