I'm an experienced grower but I had a question about a method of force flowering to determine sex I know how to do it the other traditional ways but I'm tired of wasting money on soil nutrients and so on and so on just to find out that I've been taking care of a male plant no I do not want feminized seeds and I know about clones so let's just stick to the topic how would I go about Force flowering plants to determine sex and then flipping them back to finish vegetative and when is the best time to do that what are the negative effects that I could be expecting

Four to six weeks and then put under 12/12.

Take clones and tooth them in the flower room. You could also put the plants in flower for 2 weeks and then back in veg. I've had some plants die while they were too young doing the latter. Best bet is flower clones. That way you don't slow down your vegging plants

like xtsho said also when they show and you start to veg the keepers they may start to twist and throw single leaves that’s normal but takes a lot of time before they will start to look good again

If you have the room, i like to plant several extra a just keep them all till they show pistals or balls. The only "free" way is to flip the lights for about 1.5-2 weeks, around 4 weeks from germination, which is still earlier than the natural skirt-hike. That sucks though, because you lose a lot of time....

I use 2 simple methods for my landrace selects

1: with one month veg and 2 months flower = I simply put away in a dark closet at days end for 10 -14 days after that time I simply delete the males

2: for longer grows up to 6 months = I take a cutting and either clone her out and or insert to a glass jar, and go 12x12 for the next 10-14 days

avoid going Number 1: for long grows... going 12x12 will upset the plants phyloxy or plant shape rotton like

good luck
