For those who rely on synthetic urine to pass drug tests

Down here it’s the same way bro .. I’ve been lucky so far that when I was an apprentice I made a name for myself doing there Welding competitions so I can still get a job with them but I’m still an outsider since I’m not with the click... Fuck the click crowd....:spew:
That's what I'm saying. All I care to do everyday is work and go home at 330. But nooooo it's just not okay unless there's rumors and gossiping of all sorts going around on a daily basis, and we only got about 12 of us in the shop.
If you ask me I think they all need to try some of my special cookies, maybe that'll put them at peace with one another.

I don't think it's worth it to carry around synthetic urine on you everyday. I know you don't want to hear it but best options are find a different job or quit smoking. I wouldn't work anywhere with those kind of ethics that would violate my freedom/rights to that extent.

If you start looking for another job now you will be much further ahead than if you continue what you are doing and get fired for failing, or quit smoking. It's all backwards the way society looks at mj.

Does your trade require to be in a union? I know they are all notorious for drug testing

That's unfortunate.

I do field service so I go around to a lot of different shops and it always seems the unions are a lot more uptight about safety and the drug testing policies. A couple of them also do nicotene tests and will not hire cigarette smokers... I really don't get it.

Carrying the bottles daily is actually not bad at all, you forget they're even there. But I understand what you're saying. I have had my eyes open for other jobs for a while, I have friends that own there own companies who said I could work for them, if just be taking a pay cut, good pay where I'm at. And yes I can go else wear non union for the same trade. The good thing about my job is they make you do it all from a to z, I'm not assigned to one machine or just welding, so that's taught me alot. My options are pretty open

4/13/18 used quick fix 6.2 Union shop guy myself, doctor called asked if I put something in my urine to block it/pass because the test could not read the urine... No I have no reason to do that... he told me not a fail but not a pass this was a GCMS test... I had to retake the test observed (passed) had been wanting this job for a while and quite 30+ before i took the test. But I am a big guy and did not think I would pass (faint lines on the at home test). So I used quickfix 6.2... I have decided to put the smoke down again until I get random tested. I will try quickfix again just because I have passed tested before with it, and if it doesn't work im clean so I will pass observed again.

I ended up getting drawn for the first time in 4 years, safety guy came and got me, we left the building asap and the place was like 2 blocks away. I wasn't able to get it up to high enough temp even being in my nuts. So long story short I ended up failing and they wanted to offer me treatment. I turned it down so of coarse I was fired. I planned on quiting once my vacation time renewed anyway. Fuck em.

Well that sucks man. Hopefully they don’t inform the next employer when you go to find something else.

We'll see. My options are pretty open, I have a couple friends that own there own business, painting and landscaping. I'll probably end up with them after bit, for now I'm just kind of taking a vacation and enjoying life :bigjoint:

These days, many jobs, especially involving the DOT, they ask in your application if you have tested positive for substances in the past 2 years with another employer.

See since I left the military I’ve done my own. That way I don’t have worry with all that.

They're probably kicking themselves that they even had to test me. I was the 3rd most efficient worker out of the place, and were not talking production line work, out of about 12 guys. The day after I dropped dirty the fastest most prized worker had his final day, found a new job, then yesterday another put in his 2 weeks, this morning another had a heart attack and the master foreman is retiring this year with another on the fence about retiring. Plus the now "best" worker left in the shop has been thinking about transferring to the field.
For over a year we've been asking for some new hires but the supervisor is a grade A jackass and would rather push us harder because he doesn't like hiring, so to see this happening to the company now, almost makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Except for the buddy that had a heart attack, luckily he's still alive.

Yeah my next job will be a more relaxed environment. I won't support that madness, that marijuana is such and evil drug. A few weeks before my test we had a safety meeting, mainly focusing on the shear terror, health risks and evilness of marijuana. Complete BS.
