Just to touch up on this old thread, the reason as to why prepaids' "require" ssn's is due to the patriot act. So thank bush who fucked everything up. Also, nfinance (new site is https://www.readydebitgold.com) is great IF you can find them. I used to get them at the 7-eleven but they stop carrying them now. i guess too many fed's coming in asking many questions
