It doesn't sound like they feel particularly alienated.Do you feel that the Democrats can win elections if they alienate the progressive wing of the party? Do you feel that they could win back the White House if Bernie were to run as an Independent?
In a recent interview Nina Turner, president of Bernie's Our Revolution, was asked:
CM: How will Our Revolution relate to the DNC, the DCCC, the DSCC, that kind of establishment that so many activists and politicians, including you, have frequently criticized?
NT: I don’t think it is our job nor our obligation to fit in. It’s their job to fit in with us.

As to the second part, Bernie himself has admitted, had the dems not allowed him to run, he couldn't have done it as an independent.
"In terms of media coverage, you had to run within the Democratic Party," he observed, adding that he couldn't raise money outside the major two-party process.
