this question is for the ladies...there this chick iv liked for a while and I notice she says my name everytime she says bye, I'm prolly reading into it to much but does that mean anything, I didn't think much of it at first but it's kinda unusually l, none of my friends say my name when they say bye so I'm just wondering if it might mean anything

I do that to reinforce memory of names which for me and many ppl are the first things we forget...could mean nothing...you are projecting...you want her and u want her to want u so any kindness received will be misinterpreted. Ask her out anyway, worse case she laughs at you and calls you by name.

I figured I was just reading into it to much, it's just weird even if I'm the only person around she'll do it, never met another person that does that I guess it's just some weird habit

I never got it when guys said, "you should come by __________" What does that mean? Like I'm supposed to just drive over to someone's house that I don't know? Is it an invitation or just a general blasé attitude? I always took it to mean the guy didn't really care one way or another.

Oh and the popcorn trick is a sure thing.

It's to minimize vulnerability, seems to be acceptable these days.(get ready for the grandpa story ya young whippersnappers) In my day the guy had to commit whether it was asking a gal out or further down the line things. Gals expected and required the guy to be unequivocal, to put himself out there for a yes or to crash and burn. Yep, it was embarrassing and or painful if she said no but dems da breaks, it was the rules of the game

not minimize vulnerability: to pass it to me. I now have to be the schmuck who takes the chance on showing up to the party and maybe he will/won't be there.. or he's now there w/ a sure thing. LOL

I guess it's making the courtship game more egalitarian, equal risk. I saw alot of this behavior when my girls were growing up, guys too shy or scared. 'Course I gave the little shits something to be afraid of but thats another story
