I made this post over in a newbie thread. Just wanted to make sure my LED heads see it. All in good fun.

Well, it's not done. Chopping this weekend. But the plants look great. Would take an act of god to derail this grow. But that bud says it all in my book

Personally I've never said cheap LEDS can't grow nice weed.

But knowing the full range of qualities from bud swell, terps, etc.... There is lots of room for improvement with the newer LEDS.

I was personally not satisfied with the end product until cobs. Even now I still see room for improvement

Meh. Bout a pound on the first pic. Second. I dunno.

^^^I've said it POZ and that photo, which isn't the best, isn't going to tell us the flavor, the percentage of things like THC/CBD, smokability, density, the dozens of criteria one would use to determine quality so ultimately OP, since you won't listen to any established residence of this wolf pit, you now owe it to yourself to make or buy yourself a high efficiency, properly designed light and discover the truth of how quality lights take your game to the next level. And save $$$ on your ebill. Your short-changing yourself Dutch. And for the record I saw a picture of your SLH in another post and my SLH used to look like yours when I grew it under my dual BS240s. Get better lights and you'll be shocked how much healthier they finish. They'll have the intense light that they need to thrive, not just survive. Lights aren't everything D but they sure as shit are are one big chunk of it.

And I'm not trying to be an a-hole but don't you think you come off as antagonistic or insecure, which seems to be some new trend around here with peeps? Do you really feel that your bud justifies that people should throw away/sell their COBs, A51s and Hans panels and switch to whatever the panel it is you're using? You do know that by you're actions and statements you're implying that people like SDS, Supra, GG707 and others are idiots and/or liars? Sorry D but you haven't convinced me of anything except that my convictions about cheap panels are correct and you might just be shillin'. I don't mean to piss on your parade but I'm just tired of every Tom, Dick and Harry taking a picture of a plant they grew with LEDs and announcing their cut rate panel is as good as an Apache or A51 and that we're all liars or idiots, cause from what I'm seeing, and from what I've experienced, we aren't and those panels ain't.

Easy now. Not trying to antagonize anyone. I think my Original post is funny. It makes me laugh. When I first bought my light and came here to talk about it I was first accused of being a salesman. Next I was told what a piece of sh** I bought to the point of having buyers remorse for a month while I veg'd. I am completely satisfied with my grow. Ya maybe it could have more beef to it. I don't grow to sell it. It's all going to myself. I don't need about a pound. The light didn't break, no diodes blew, it's quiet.
This post is for my fellow cheap LED peeps. I literally cannot afford an Area 51. I have 0 interest in DIY. I'm on the record telling people If they can afford an Area 51 to buy it.
I also put it out there that if anyone wants to contribute to a nice light, I would test it out.
The whole thing is tongue in cheek and meant to get a quick small chuckle for my fellow cheap-o's. People can talk down my buds all they want, I shall sit on my couch and love life while I vape em.
It's a joke! Everyone keep calm!

Some people around here are a bit sensitive because of the constant trolling by sellers with fake accounts and by morons and mental defects claiming their cheap lights are as good as any light made. Most people that know their head from their ass will tell you that you can grow weed with most any light source but quality LED with the right spectrum will give you a much better yield,quality and will run cooler and cost less to run.

Ya I get that. Just for the record I am NOT saying my light is better than whatever other light. Never did. Not even claiming it is equal. I think the point that 'but the cheap light will still grow nice bud' gets buried deep within a whole lot of spec talk. I think it's hard for the premium light folk to understand how all the spec talk comes off to the cheap light people. Remember the cheap light people are generally less experienced and speaking for myself here, maybe even look up to the experts. When I get buried with specs that I dont know the meaning of, it tends to feel a little like 'well my lights sucks and won't grow jack.' I'm not saying everyone says they can't grow. But it certainly doesn't come off that way at times. I think the inexperienced need to see what the cheap lights can do.

Yeah man. Some folks make out like it takes a rocket scientists to grow "weed". My 1st was miracle grow soil, fert and CFL to grow one auto. It was my best producer ever. Now I just do Hempy and led cause it's simple. May buy a $65 150 HPS my next time around. Just to see ya know. It's cool bru. Hope you enjoy your stuff.

Yea you could probably grow weed with candles if you had a enough of them,I even know a guy that grew his for a time with a old LPS street light back in the day. For me it's quality first and yield second and high quality LED does it great and my grow rooms can be cooled in the summer with a small window air conditioner and my electric bills aren't bad either.

OP, I'll show you how to offend these bitches proper.

I started growing with both BlackStars and Chromes and bypassed all the Han/A51/SolarNukem stages (had to choose a non-bias word there) and ended up building my own COB fixtures, which by the way are kickass.

We all start somewhere. Why not from the bottom and end up at the top?
