and how much cal mag do you guys add? do you use it every time. do you prefer the one week of high P or using it all the way through.

I got a galaxy dial a watt and that huge 8inch sun master blazer, should I hang another bulb somewhere. I could spread there legs with somme bamboo. these things grow tall. too late to lst

They grew tall because of the long dark periods, dark periods will encourage stem growth. I grow in a confined space and I can tell you the main way I keep my plants in check height wise is avoiding dark periods altogether. You want to run as much light as possible in bloom without over stressing your plants typically that's 20/4 for me once the flowering stretch is over.

During the last couple weeks I'll bump it back up to 24/0 for as much bulking as possible.

As far as nutrients go, I never go over 1 or maybe 1.2 EC with autos, it's just not necessary. I also don't subscribe to the very high P bloom food nonsense. A balanced npk formula throughout the grow with a reasonable EC always produces superior results imho. Personally I like 3-1-2 start to finish .I will add some potassium sulfate in late flower, but no extra P it mainly just contributes to issues and is just one of those myths perpetuated by nutrient companies looking to make a buck. Extra photons grow buds, not extra phosphorus.

I wouldn't advise adding any extra K in coco though, it releases alot of K as it is and is unnecessary and will cause more cal/mag headaches in this medium. When I grow in coco I try and swing my pH to the high end of the scale range to facilitate calcium uptake (6.2) or so. Every other feed or so I'll add about. 3 or. 4 EC cal/mag. I don't think it's necessary every feed or in very high doses if you are using a decent base formulation.

I've also had good success running gh Lucas start to finish, but I like dynagro foliage pro start to finish with added potassium sulfate in flower much better.

To give you an example of how you can manipulate plant shape with light cycles with autos here is an example of a bud packed auto I grew in a confined space in a 1 gallon jug. This plant was only 9 inches tall. It grew bud all the way to the dirt. There was only 1inch of exposed stem.
