Follow up, weed and beta bloackers?

Yeah, i know i just asked if ativan would have any adverse effects with weed. My dad has always smoked pot, but he was recently given beta blockers for high blood pressure. Do you think he should still be smoking?

I smoked when I was on them. Nothing ever happened.

I used them for anxiety though, so I can't really comment.

Thats a question for his doctor. I was on beta blockers for a bit to test some things with my medical condition. Hated em! They slow your heart down sooo bad. But if that is what you need they are fine.


Oh, i didn't have any issues myself with the combo and I have been on some doozy cocktails including the beta blockers. Beta blockers are not to be taken lightly so ask his MMJ doc...

Exactly why I was perscribed. My intestinal ulcers were so bad and I was soo stressed about that and the pain, that they had to beta blocker me to get me thru a flareup. It was that, xanax, MJ, and some experimental time release antiacid. Was in a damn fog for a month but it pulled me thru that flareup.

yeah, he definitely should talk to his doc. I'm sure he will, I just wanted to know for myself. Most of the times people who have experimented with said drugs would know more than a doctor, who would probably say "well....how bout not smoking weed all together". More of just peace of mind for me. I worry when he gets new meds. thanks for the input tho
