I am a 1st time grower and I just wanna go 2 town on my plants . But 4 of my 5 are barely starting week 4 since I planted them . they are each between 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 inches and my last plant I just bought from a friend that is about 2 1/2 ft tall . My question is should I foliar feed all my plants ? Or feed them threw water . Can I just do both ??

You can do either or up to you. I'm not much of a foliar guy but I know people who use it and swear by it . Some just use a particular foliar alone for the whole grow(dyna gro foliar).

You can do both, but there probably isn't a need for a NPK foliar feeding if your plant is healthy, and your leaves are green.
I foliar feed my supplements, never my NPK nutrients. Seems to work pretty good for me. There's only one problem. You need to know when the Stomata are open in order for it to work.
I think that's one of the main reasons people don't have good success with foliar feeding.

Shortly after lights on is the best time to foliar spray.
The stomata are open during lights on. During lights on the plants involved in alot of transpiration through the stomata. You might not have the best sucess with your foliar spray if you wait to long after the lights have come on.

I'd also recommend a surfactant. A liquid agent that breaks the surface tension of your foliar solution making it spread out more on the leaf.
You can get by with out it, but you'll have better results if you use it.
I wouldn't use dish soap. Just because of how it works. It wants to trap particles in the soap molecule.
Wet Betty has been around for a while, and works. I'm using Dutch Masters. It's a little pricey, but has a few more bells and whistles. There are several surfacants to choose from. Do you little research, and see what people are saying about the different products.
