Flying time

I live in the SW States to start with. I was in town earlier today pumping gas in my car. I live exactly 3 miles from the gas station, luckily, while I was pumping gas I heard a helicopter flying just above tree top level. I saw the culprit and it was the state patrol flying around looking for, wouldn't you know it, marijuana. Since I had a couple plants in my yard sitting out in the sun I hauled ass back home and carried them to my out building and got them outta sight. After a couple hours I set them back in the sun and was in the house when I heard the bastards coming back over. I hauled ass back outside and this time damn near got caught running thru the yard with a plant in my arms. I'm very lucky the plants I was growing I had trained and were only about 5 1/2 to 6 feet tall at the very most. I'm not talking about monsters, maybe 1/4 each on them. They're only in a 3 gal. Fabric pot. but they have some nice buds and look and smell good. To make a long story shorter I didn't want the fucking cops in my yard charging me for manufacturing and putting me on the front page of the local paper saying they had a street value of 20,000 dollars. That's just about the way it would happen, these small town cops in a rural area don't get much action so when they do get some they milk it for everything they can get outta it. Now I said all of that to ask this. Can anyone tell me how the 5-0 detect weed from the air? Is it by sight or by infra red? I've heard several ways from heat sensors to just sight to infra red to having fucking aliens find it for them. I'm not close to any cops to ask questions, the closest I've ever been to a cop is the ride to jail in the back seat. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I need several more weeks sunshine on these before maturity and to flush them out. I don't want to be ball and chained to them afraid the PO PO are going to fly over again. If they're anyway I can hide them in plain sight I would love to know. I grow several lbs ever year but never on my property before. PLEASE HELP!! Thank you!!!

Low and slow there looking visually for grows .........the heat sensing shit you hear about is usually when there looking for large indoor grows during cold weather ......a trained pig looking for pot is pretty good at it ......go on google earth it's not hard to see gardens at all

I could see the state trooper sign on the side of it. Like I said I only have a couple small plants on my property as long as they're flying around here I know my bigger grows ain't being spotted..lol

Clip fake flowers on those mofos
You think clipping a few plastic roses on them will work. I don't know of any flowers that's blooming in September. Lol
Paranoia sucks .

Na I'm not paranoid I'm ok with how they're hid now, in my building. I can open the doors up in the evening and still get about 4 hours sunlight. I can deal with that for a couple days until the mofo's move somewhere else to look.

I think it is usually by sight or high magnification camera lens. I flew a drone over my plants to see what it looked like from above and it is pretty darn obvious they are ganja even though my yard has lots of trees and vegetation growing.
As low and slow as them MF's were flying they sure didn't need high mag. Lense. I could have hit them with a rock almost. Lol

I think @TWS meant that because you said you raced home from the gas station and ran through your yard with plants in your hand not once but twice at the sound of the chopper ......that my friend is paranoia ....the sinking oh shit I'm caught feeling ...

Lots of things are blooming now. I'm relandscaping my front yard and will have flowering trees/ bushes and ground cover 9-10 months of the year.
