just from what i have seen in past grows. if a regular male unloads into the grow area i consider it unsuitable for females for the future. as ive had problems with fertilization long after males were removed. but with hermis ive seen one plant grow seeds while other strains remain unaffected right next to them. in that instance i wouldnt grow females of a certain strains in that room at any point in the future but other strains are ok. i think it has something to do with the plants protection against inbreeding, the hermi represents a plant switched into survival mode, trying to replicate itself as fast as it can into seed form for the next season.
