Flushing

I have about two weeks left for my outdoor potted plants. I stopped all nutrients except for nectar of the god Herculean harvest and terpinator. I was told that I could feed them those two up till harvest. Any thoughts on this?

I would feed nothing but water the last week, I don't care what anyone says. Was the person that told you this someone who sells it?

No. I was someone who was a grower out in CA. I found it on a couple websites also. He’s the one thing I keep finding when I google it.

Tip:
When growing fruit producing plants we have all been told to spend ten to fourteen days at the end of the plants life cycle flushing out any nutrient flavor that has occurred during the life of the plant. However, we find that this information is misleading. Once a plant is built and designed with a salt based fertilizer and all the cells in the stems, leaves and fruit have been built it is not an easy task to remove that flavor from a plant. Our customers have run many trials and have found that by feeding a calcium based regimen all the way through, with the last five to seven days feeding Herculean Harvest, Aphrodites Extraction, and Olympus Up as a sweetener, not only did the quality of fruit improve, but they also saw a yield increase. Plants need that last stage in their lives (fall) to translocate all the sugars that they worked so hard to make through photosynthesis during their life span and relocate them into the fruit. Herculean Harvest, Aphrodite’s Extraction and Olympus Up aid in this process while adding extra flavor

I grow various fruits and use Medina Hasta Gro Plant throughout grow with great results. Never used any Greek God concoctions,
though I foliar spray with Medina Liquid Seaweed to increase brix and build pest resistance. I use these products with cannabis as well.

"our customers"

Of course a company selling their products are going to say shit like that. But I say buy them all. Do side by sides and let us all know.

A fool and his money . . .

Yup but they came to the conclusion that not flushing is better so theyre not trying to push any flushing products.
Foot In Mouth, lol. Sorry man.

I thought you were pro flushing. I never watched that video either, just skimmed through the site. My bad.

I totally agree with ya. In my defense, I am high.

I'm also getting lost in all the flushing threads, lol.

When I started growing my Friend, who was great at growing, told me no need to flush. I believed them for years. I then learned through years of, why is my harvest not the greatest tasting? YOU HAVE TO FLUSH! Actually, you don’t have to if you don’t want the greatest.

No problem. I dont flush but I'm sure there are people that are convinced it helps and thats fine. As long as everybody is happy with their end result then thats the important thing.

I'm a liar. I said in a flushing post awhile back that I would never post in another flushing thread or even click on the link. I lied. Please forgive me.

YOU CAN'T FLUSH ANYTHING OUT OF THE PLANT.

You can stop feeding and the plant will consume itself. But nothing inside the plant can be Flushed away.

Those that believe in flushing ask yourself this question: "Where do those alleged stored nutrients go?". Do they get excreted through the leaves? Do they drip out of the pistils? Do they evaporate? Do the travel back down through the plants vascular system and return to the soil through the roots? Where do those alleged nutrients go?

Anyone with a modicum of knowledge regarding plant physiology would know that the concept of flushing out stored nutrients is not possible.

Forget the cannabis bro-science. There is science and then there is nonsense. Flushing is nonsense. Just because some company markets this product and that product to flush your plants doesn't mean that product actually accomplishes that goal. Verbiage from some cannabis specific nutrient companies website is not based on science. It's designed to sell product. They sell the product not because it accomplishes the stated goal but because they can get people to buy it. The more product they sell the more profit they make which is why they are in business to begin with.

I can't believe people actually post marketing nonsense from nutrient companies as if it's fact.

1st crop I flushed 2 weeks.
This crop not flushing
What you should be doing is either once a week or so is just feed plain water. And on the last last 3 days feed with water and turn off the lights after.

An elemental salt is an elemental salt. Period. Whether it’s derived from chicken manure or a bottle. That’s not bullshit. That’s science.
