Flushing Question

I have been growing for just under two years. I have noticed growing hybrids that are indica dominate and my indica strain all finish between 70-80 days. I learned techniques that increase yield, but never anything that helps my plants finish even close to 60 days which I have 2 strain that are 55-60 day strains. So, my question is if I flush earlier before a majority of trichomes are milky, will it ripen plants earlier? Anyone flush at 45-48 days?

flushing will not "ripen" plants earlier

all flushing does is......well that's another story that has been discussed way too much

Thank you for quick reply. Any techniques or growing advice that help plants finish earlier?

Flushing early will not help the finishing time of the strain . Genetics I believe determine when it will finish not really anything you can do to change that . Think of it as a sativa hybrid strain . all the children will finish at different times even if it is a stable line ( if it is they all generally finish in the same week or close to ) . Flushing early will only decrease yields ( less food ,vital nutes) . Verdict is no stay on course let the genetics determine when to flush .

If the conditions in your room are less than perfect you will notice that it takes longer for your plants to finish. Once your room is dialed in properly your plants will grow much faster and finish earlier.

If you have a 9 week strain that really finishes in 9.5 - 10 and you are doing a soilless grow w/pro mix hp and nuting w/pure blend's line, would you start flush at beginning of week 8, 8.5 or 9??

I've got 6 diff. strains under 2KW -all at just after week 8 into bloom. white urkle (og rascal), orange diesel (lady sat.), tangilope (dna), alien fire fruit (holy smoke), thunderbud haze, and kosher kush. The white urkle's are within a week, while the orange diesel, tangilope and thunderbud haze, and kosher are aroung 2 week til.

1) My main question is about flushing, do you cut off nutes cold turkey or taper down for a week or so until going only pure water?

2) Doing soilless, I don't want to flood/saturate the pots as it could cause root root, so would you just water as usual, but with plain water during last HOW MANY DAYS before harvest.

I have started giving them all plain water with some innoculant (orca's great white -liq. mycorize w/bacteria), but many still have 2 weeks to go, so would I continue feeding them for another week or just continue flushing (slow flush with pure water in order not to saturate the medium and keep it a comfortable moist)?

If roots in a pot are like your feet in shoes, would you like to walk around in wet shoes? Of course not, but moist shoes from healthy exercise is akin to moist pots nourishing vibrant roots.
I usually only water 3 - 4 cups (per 4 gal pot) ever 2 to 3 days depending on strain, temp. and humidity. I have found many good grow tips from kyle kushman's forums, esp regarding hydro-organic, veganics, and building a vibrant fauna of life for your roots to flourish, thus maximizing the strains' phenotype's yield and quality in terms of smell, flavor, potency, and appearance, not to mention size (esp. w/CO2).

I could also just continue feeding the yellowing late ripener's (sativa dominant hybrids) by foliar feeding about half strength (cal/mag and pb bloom) for another week or so.
