Flushing plants

Who does not flush their plants, and has not seen difference in the final product. I have been hearing a lot of contradicting arguments from people on this subject. While the majority of people still flush their product, I am not sure if it is right. A majority of people still use the paper towel method to germinate, I have since learned that this just exposing the seed to more added dangers.

Flushing removes undisolved/unused salts/materials ect
not doing so would be lazy and you will wind up with less.
I use to not and now every time I do I get a surge of growth as every time I up my nutes more than normal.

Plants love a good flush every 3-6 weeks.

Does it matter what medium that you are using, I have read things Hobbes and AB and they do not flush when they are using their ebb and flow. Thx for your quick reply, one of the things I want to do is get things straight there are so many myths that are taken as fact that its hard for a new grower to go through everything, oh yeah +rep

Thanks man, well I just figured you were talking about soil, that is the standard for soil.
The only hydro experience I have is in DWC, I flush every week as far as it's concerned.
Mainly because I up the nutes every week and I dont test PH or anything so I want to make sure everything is balanced every time.

Thanks man i appreciate that.
