flushing & over watering

is there a difference ? how can you tell when its been flush /cant u over water it or is that the point of flushing try an get all nutes out the soil:?:

The point of flushing as you said is to remove the nutritional buildup if you will, it removes the excess salts to avoid an over abundance. Overwatering is just that. Imagine basically flushing ur plants EVERY time you watered. This is essentially overwatering. Its watering enough or frequent enough to cause an exclusion of oxygen to the rootzone. A flush is a good and healthy monthly practice. Overwatering should be avoided at all cost

flush is two things. one is flushing becuz you have nute. burn due to over nuteing them. in this case you would use three times the water to pot size. example 5 gallon pot flush with 15 gallons water.
second type of flush that some growers do is flush just b4 harvest. this is done by just watering with plain water.. water just like any other normal; feeding day.. some do this 3 days to a week b4 chop chop.. not necessary but it don'turn any thing.
