I grow without a medium and the last 10 -14 days I use only water but I don't consider it flushing. With that said my indoor hydro taste just as good as my outdoor soil grown. I keep my ppm's low throughout the grow and have never been dissatisfied. I guess LinguaPeel would know better never having smoked any of my weed?

Listening to jeff lowenfels verde lecture on youtube for the umpteenth time right now.

His quote not mine.
"Flushing is stupid"
Due to how cells work and how nutrients travel through them.

If you are interested watch the vid
Then read teaming with nutrients.

Out of the three teaming books for me its the hardest to get through.
But Im trying. Lol

Learning is hard

No side by side photographic proof. But when most hydroponic bud tastes like chemicals instead of weed, there's something to be said about those who claim there's no difference. The same people who say flushing is a myth grow that shit i refer to as plastic weed. Oh and we can quantify these natural and foreign flavors with science so watch what you stand by.

Defending ANs dream of "use til harvest" yet no one wants to step up and differentiate their supposedly amazing unflushed weed from the Sour Diesel i just tried that taste like a garden hose filled with Ketamine, and not a bit like weed let alone sour diesel.

Explain that to us. If perhaps the "flush toilets not plants" camp would speak up from a place of intelligence and observations rather than theoretical? Describe their terpenes perhaps more in depth than fire, dank, or chronic? Oh you're bad at describing flavors? Figures, lol. And PPG paint mixers are always colorblind when asked to differentiate shades. Totally legitimate excuse. See I used to buy weed from a hydro buddy. I forced him to say it every time. And let him know why his product moved slow. The presence of those chems turns entire regions of smokers off. I think maybe some regions have broken taste buds?

If I feed full strength nutes am i fucked? What makes a plant smell like plastic and taste like lab chemicals? Is that why 99% of hydro tastes like grow product, over feeding? Until you speak up we can only assume your bud is the same plastic trash like you can buy at dispensaries and what you say means squat.
You have literally no idea what you’re talking about. Go back to school, kiddo.

Hey trichometry101's back and is as clueless and batshit crazy as ever.
If you need shit explained you should stick around after posting. Instead you type the same incoherent BS and disappear. I have a couple ??'s for you.
What's grow product taste like? Plastic and lab chemicals, you shouldn't be drinking lab chemicals (it does explain a lot)but it can't be good for you, unless you consider h2o is a chemical. See how well you or your plant grow without it. I think thats the one that made your feet blue. Good luck flushing that out.

co2 another chemical people just wanna stuff their plant full of. What's your method of flushing that nasty chemical? Crazy to think that those 2 chems make up most of a plant.
Where do trees get their mass from? | MSU Extension

Where exactly do the elements absorbed by plants go when you "flush"? How do they leave the plant when they're used to build the plant. You like watching leaves change color derpderp? Do think thats the plant "using it up" WETFTM!! Plants don't shit and piss in case you didn't know. Their waste is excreted through leaves or stored there! Have a look
Excretion in plants:
Compared to animals, plants do not have a well-developed excretory system to throw out nitrogenous waste materials. This is because of the differences in their physiology. Therefore, plants use different strategies for excretion.

The gaseous waste materials produced during respiration (carbon dioxide) and photosynthesis (oxygen) diffuse out through stomata in the leaves and through lenticels in other parts of the plant. Excess water evaporates mostly from stomata and also from the outer surface of the stem, fruits, etc., throughout the day. This process of getting rid of excess water is called transpiration.

The waste products, like oxygen, carbon dioxide and water, are the raw materials for other cellular reactions. The excess of carbon dioxide and water are used up in this way. The only major gaseous excretory product of plants is oxygen!

Many plants store organic waste products in their permanent tissues that have dead cells, e.g., in heartwood. Plants also store waste within their leaves or barks. These wastes are periodically removed as the leaves and barks fall off.

Some of the waste products are stored in special cells or cellular vacuoles. Various waste products such as tannins, essential oils, gums, resins, etc., are produced during catabolic processes. Tea leaves, amla and betel nuts (supari) contain tannin. Tannins are found also in the barks of trees.

The leaves of many plants, like Eucalyptus, lemon, sacred basil (tulsi), etc., contain essential oils. The rind of oranges and lemons and the petals of flowers like rose and jasmine also contain oils. Some plant wastes are stored as a thick, white fluid. You may have seen white fluid ooze out when you pluck a papaya or a fig or the leaves of yellow oleander (pila kaner). This white fluid is called latex.

Gums are a group of sticky, water- soluble wastes found in the common gum tree (babul). Resins are another group of wastes found commonly in the stems of conifers (e.g., pine, fir).

Alkaloids are a group of toxic waste products. But some of these are useful to us. Quinine and morphine are medicines derived from alkaloids stored in Cinchona bark and opium poppy flowers respectively. Caffeine found in coffee seeds and nicotine in tobacco leaves is also alkaloids.

Organic acids, which might prove harmful to plants, often combine with excess cations and precipitate out as insoluble crystals that can be safely stored in plant cells. Calcium oxalate crystals accumulate in some tubers like yam (zamikand).

Aquatic plants lose most of their metabolic wastes by direct diffusion into the water surrounding them. Terrestrial plants excrete some waste into the soil around them. Here's the site http://www.biologydiscussion.com/essay/excretion-in-animals-humans-and-plants-with-diagram/1570

One last question for ya. If you're so big time, some master grower with knowledge drippin from ya ass why do you spend so much time and money smoking dispensary schwagg?

You have any actual facts? I'm not interested in any of your suckin garden hoses filled with semen and ketamine homosexual fantasies. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that if it's what you're into, it's just not my thing.

Duh....

I can tell you have lived a sheltered life. So you've smoked 99% of the hydro out there? Probably not.

And hate to tell you but organic growers can just as easily grow tasteless garbage product as well. I know because I've smoked with some of them before, lol.

Flush to fade, feed to end, do whatever you want, who cares. I flush, do what you want.
I agree with this. Can’t we all just be people in the world? Cheers, let all the people enjoy what they enjoy.
If you're happy with your end result thats all that matters. Nobodies forced to read, reply, or believe anything they don't want to.

Consider what would've happened to this plant if everybody dug there heals in and were unwilling or to stubborn to consider a different view.

Fortunately there were folks willing to put aside what they had learned growing up. Nancy Reagans just say no, this your brain this is your brain on drugs bullshit commercials or marijuana is a gateway drug. This all happened only 30 short years ago. There are still plenty of people that hold on to that ideology with both hands. They've had those ideas pounded into their head for so long no amount of scientific or medical data will change their mind.

It's evident people hold on to yesterdays fiction even after all the facts and medical benefits have been laid out in front of them. The myth or folklore of the devils lettuce dies slow in some.
