FLUSH OR NOT?

How does this shitty & stupid thing keep being inflicted upon us.

Not a single person has explained the actual mechanism that removes any nutrients from plants. People have studied plant biology for centuries and yet here we are with a myth about flushing SCARY CHEMICALZZZZ out of plants. Once plants take up nutrients, they don't osmotically release them. It's a one way door. There is no process by which plants 'flush' nutrients out of their tissues.

wait what:o

please educate me sir, that if a plant ever falls victim of a nutrient deficiency/toxicity throughout its cycle then a flush will do not good because the plants cant “osmotically release them. It's a one way door. There is no process by which plants 'flush' nutrients out of their tissues”.. Am i hearing this right? So a flush is worthless & will never do any good?

I need to sleep now & hope this was all a dream like Biggie said lol..

The plants in that study that were flushed yielded 5% to 10% more than then others. Go figure. Perhaps it's because feeding lower EC makes the plant uptake more water, resulting in bud swell, which also equates into increased dry mass. Science.
I think that's about flushing out salts throughout the grow. I don't know.

I flush out excess salts a few times throughout the grow cycle. Nothing wrong with a refresher.

EDIT: Let me qualify that by saying that I don't "flush" gallons of RO water, I flush with a 50% nute solution plus fulvic acid, just one extra irrigation cycle.

Why I flush & always will is coz:

When i am at the end of my flowering cycle and my trickz are turning milky, I test my runoff water to see what my EC levels are like. Normally they are high and full of chemicals. This is why i flush so i can bring that EC level down to as low as my tap water if reverse osmosis water is not available to me for the last 2 weeks.

Imagine if i did not flush. All those chemicals man & can you imagine the dudes that have EC levels of 2.5 & above who say fuk the flush & wanna consume that cancerous liquid ‍:wall::joint:

Safety 1st for me & my peeps + we live for that white ash lol..
Why is your dirt full of chemicals???

Now you've changed the parameters of your first post from flushing the last 2 weeks to "what if".
This has been debated for years, you're not bringing anything new to the table.

Shit why do these flushing threads always end up going around in circles.
Sometimes it's like being trapped in a Joseph Heller novel.

You dont need 3 question marks homie lol lol.

It has chemicals because i am using
“Synthetic bottled nutrients” Like AN or Canna.
Ions are ions. Your plant can't tell the difference. Your plant is made of light + nutrients you're using. You can't flush the plant with water any more than you can flush your body of its cells with water. Much like your body, you can make your plant very unwell, but go ahead and do you.

Enjoy the mids
