fluoro gro

i got 2 fluoro bulbs(the spiral ones) i think they're 42 watt but equivalent to 120 or 150. do you think it will work? also for them to be fluoros, they do give off a bit of heat. plus they get a lil hot too. any suggestions? think it'll work?

probably need more.. 42w bulbs put out 2600 or so lumens? so two would be 5200 lumens.. Maybe one plant ? Not sure.

mck, you should get a copy of How to Grow 8oz. of Bud for Under $100, by SeeMoreBuds. I got a copy at my local megabookstore. Interesting reading, and very do-able! If you're at all considering a flourogrow, you should check out a copy of that book. I have several friends who have built grow cabinets using combinations of flourescent and LED, and they are able to grow up to 6 or 8 plants at a time, and they both built their first grow setups similarly to what's shown in SeeMore's book. Based on what I've seen, I think that growing 2 or 3 really good plants using nothing but CFL would work fine.
