I figured it should be a lot bigger! Bahahaha I was using Grow Big and Hormex Root Strengthener for veg, but obviously the noob that I am. It was premixed in a gallon for me and I thought she said to only use a tablespoon every watering so thats what I'd been doing. Then the plant starts growing slow, then the leaves turn yellow and start getting holes and rips. And then the pH thing. I can't afford a pH meter, especially the good ones that everyone swears by. So I'm kind of stuck where I'm at til I can get some more money. :0\

Ok here are the two of them as of today. I also have 2 Grunk seeds that I got from my caregivers batch and then one more bagseed which I will have germinated and planted by the end of this week I hope. They are lookin pretty good. I think the one is still a little imbalanced. But this second bagseed is just exploding with growth. I think she is gonna be a monster. :)

Yeah you should definitely get some more nutrients to the plants. What is the npk of the nutes you been using?

Oh, are your plants always droopy? or are you just taking your pics right after you water?

Well at first I was given Grow Big premixed and I'm pretty sure that the instructions I was given to use it with were incorrect. But now I'm giving it Big Bloom in the correct doses. I heard Tiger Bloom is a good one to be on in addition to the Big Bloom. And yeah I usually take my pictures after I water. Thanks for constantly stoppin by! I appreciate at least having one constant viewer lol

Haha no worries! I've never used FF nutes before, but I DO know they ARE supposed to be used in conjunction. Grow Big is to be used throughout the entire grow - and as for Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom they are to be used together during flowering. They have other products, like Open Sesame, that can also be added during certain periods of the plants growth as a good supplement.

Try doing searches on "Fox Farm nutrient mix" or "fox farm recipe" or "fox farm schedule" on google to see what other people are using that works best.

I am not sure what day into flower I am. I would guess around 8 or 9. She is looking lots better but she is still pretty small. She is a she/he. More so a she than a he thank god. I have only found a total of 3 balls which is pretty good I think. Whatcha think? Oh and there's also one new one that is the bagseed I think the Grunk seeds shitted out on me while in the soil finishing germ :(. The other plant is looking really good. I decided to let this one grow naturally with no LST I'll see how she does. I might actually top or fim her at some point. We'll see.

looking pretty damn tasty!

some of the last pics, besides the seedling, seem to be showing some zinc or magnesium deficiency i think.... might want to keep an eye!

Skunkmeister,
whats up man I just saw ur post on my question bout nutes like 2 weeks ago. Hey u doin not bad for first time and I wanna see the mutant give off some supermutant weed. Bro I mustve started 3 grows befor ever gettin through one(laziness really) but thats how you learn. PH would eff with ur plants luckily my ph 7 so not bad. no testers need really. Use superthrive during veg. only once. Fox farm veg is good and got fox farm flower just like you. mollases only at flower, not at veg, seems to work. Youll getsome bud off that thing no doubt.

I keep forgetting to get molasses. I need to remember that! Here's the update for this week. Thanks again for all the feedback. it's pretty exciting to show off my work. Is it normal for my pistils to be turning dark during this period in some spots? I would assume not so maybe I have another issue now? haha. Anyway. Here ya go. :)

And also I got a fresh bud off my caregivers plant which I will show a picture of too. I think it was Medicine Man.

Are those pictures of the small plants with bud yours or your care givers? The pistils will sometimes turn brown at a the beginning but being pollinated causes pistils to die off too. are you really in mt? I would recommend ordering some seeds online. northernlights or aurora indica.

Those are mine. I'm pretty sure they haven't been pollinated. I've been keeping a super close eye out for the balls. It's not that big of a plant so they are super easy to find. I'm really in good old MT. I'll eventually get to ordering some seeds online but that will probably be next summer.

How much area does the 150w cover? How far away are they from the light? I heard Advanced Nutrients is better than FF so I might get that next time. do you not have that other plant not budding? One time I couldn't go get some good dirt from hydro shop so I used Scotts but I Dumped a hole bag in a tube of water and sifted through it. THe majority of Perlite floated to the top with some other matter like dirt and wood pieces. Growin side by side to see how it compares with regular scotts. This has a higher percentage of perlite so who knows. Anyway I'll be transplanting into bigger pots with quality soil so maybe won't be any difference in the long run but I'll let you know. Just seemed like a good idea at the time. All hypothetical of course because Growin ganja is illegal and I don't break the law

My light covers a 3x3x2 area with mylar. There's only the one in flower right now and it is probably 5 inches from the light. That other plant is yet to be budded. It's only 6 inches right now. I'll throw it in at 8 inches. The sifting of the perlite is an outstanding idea. Because I have lots of cheap soil with high amounts of perlite. You sir, are a genius!

And yet we are still alive! :) I threw the second one into flower and fimmed her as well... Or atleast I hope I did haha. Anyway, the sproutling is doing good. Got 3 more seeds I'm tryin to pop and if they do or don't I'll let ya know. I'll get some pics in the next day or two.
