Flowers pushing out leaves / Re Veg

Good morning
So we’re at day 32 of actual flower and some of the upper flowers on one strain seem to be trying to re veg / pushing out new little leaves.
The other strain seems to want to foxtail. Keeping the environment in check has been a real challenge this year. With the need to run a dehumidifier to keep the humidity in check its like running a small heater in the grow space. Humidity is good around 50% but the temperature has been running between 88/90 degrees in the heat of the day. Went from a 4” exhaust fan to a 6” exhaust fan. No ability to run a/c in the space. Moving air around the best I can with fans. First thoughts were the lights were to close so we raised them up as high as we can and turned the power down a bit. Also backed off the nitrogen over 2 weeks ago as they were looking extra green with some tip burn showing. I believe they are stressed and reacting to the heat condition. Just trying to confirm my suspicion. Thanks in advance!

Spider Farmer SF 2000 in a 3X3
Running DWC (water temps 65 to 68 degrees chiller) PH 5.7 - 5.9
Advance Nutrients trio (was running as high as 875 ppm back down to 750 ppm)
Big Bud
Cal-Mag
Hydro Guard

any light timers fail?
Thanks for the reply! Sometimes I feel like my questions are not important enough.
Just so happens when the environment in the tent started becoming disrespectful I made a change from a 4” to 6” exhaust fan.
In the exchange I believe the wire from the light or fan depressed 3 tabs on the mechanical timer and the lights were coming on for like 2 hrs during dark time.
I just noticed this error about a hour ago :wall:
I took the second light out like 10 days ago cause I believed the lights were stressing the plants. I just can’t believe it.
What the hell to do now!!!

They look a little heavy on the Nitrogen to me, but considering you found out your timer was on an extra couple hours, there ya go. Just go back to your normal schedule and maybe look into a digital timer. They can be less prone to issues over time.

Definitely revegged. The top, most upper growth is now vegetation and no longer pistils/flower. Bummer, those beasts were frosty.

It's gona stop producing flowers and trichomes. I advise just cutting your losses on these. Sorry.

I actually backed off on the grow 2 water changes ago.

Cut out the calmag, that adds a lot of extra nitrogen and AN is already known to be Nitrogen heavy. I quit using AN years ago but it was good stuff before I figured out how to manage pH myself. Their Coco Connoisseur was liquid gold when I was having pH issues as a new coco grower.

I never got past 50% on the AN products and was running the Cal-Mag
at 2ml per gallon. Had been using GH I guess the pretty bottles got me :)

everyones question is important.. I find it feels like some people wait for one person to reply to get the ball rolling. I'm happy it seems you found your issue and sad at the outcome.. best of luck regardless what route you go with this run.

Thank You! Here at day 97 from seed it really sucks this outcome. Sure didn’t have this problem in my last 5 DWC grows. When the weather cools off we will go at it again.

My very first grow, i had one of three plants reveg, and I can tell you for sure the WORST decision i made was to keep it growing until the others were finished. It was trash, and I should have trashed it sooner.

Don't give up, it happens to the best of us
