Can a female plant flower and then become a mother. or will she die?

I think it depends on how far into flower she gets, If you just want to sex her then I believe you can re veg her, but you have a chance of a hermie.

You can harvest a plant and than throw her back in veg with some foliage still on but it takes a month or better maybe sooner to get her to revert
