flowering

i have this plant growing.for about 2 weeks now.
its about 6 inches tall, but few leaves. how soon can i begin to flower, to establish the sex. and also how soon after flowering can i tell if tis male or female? please help.

it can take as long as a month, no max time to tell the sex of a plant. Also you can begin flowering whenever you want to, plants grow 2-3 ttimes the size during flowering.

alright so i know, that you can induce flowering but putting it in 12/12. what happeneds when you do it to early?

you get less weed.

yeah because your plant will be smaller.

You can go 12/12 from seed if you prefer. Also Males show sex earlier than Females once 12/12 is induced.

I put them into 24 hrs of darkness after 30-40 days, switch to HPS 12/12 and food; sex time and trigger flowering cycle alittle quicker.
