My plants are 4 weeks into veg. I want them to show sex, so I can get the males out of my garden and clone the females. I just switched from a 400w mh to a 400w hps. I also went to a 12/12 lighting schedule. How long will it take for them to show sex? I want to go back to veg as soon as possible. Thanx

about 2 weeks. but when you flower that soon it slows down the whole growing process by 2 or more weeks. or you can cover the bottom branch with a brown paper bag, for like 2 weeks. and if you dont use a bag to cover it, then make sure its somthing that will allow the plant to get oxygen.

if you want sensi bud, buy female seeds to get rid of that prob.

you can also take clones from all the plants and carefully label them and destroy the male clones when the parent shows sex. this way you won't have to go into flowering and then revert back to veg.

of course, you may have reasons for doing it the way you propose (like space issues, etc..)

Yea I do have space issues that's why I have to do it this way. How long will it take for the plants to show the first signs of sex
