I'm looking to do a SCROG type set up and am looking between these two lamps. Grow cab is 2' x 2' and 5' tall.
I ordered the 2 FT 6 bulb fixture that puts out 12,000 lumens for 150 dollars. (http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=4924)
BUT I just realize the HTGsupply 2 FT 2 bulb fixture that uses PL-55w lamps produces 10,000 lumens! For only 79 dollars! And it's 12 inches wide as opposed to the 20 inches for the 6 bulb fixture! D'oh!

Should I return the 2 FT 6 bulb and get the HTG supply one? The only thing about the 6 bulb fixture would that it would spread the light over a wider area which I guess would be better for SCROG, but it would be less intense than the 10K lumens squeezed into 12 inches of width as opposed to 12K lumens squeezed into 20 inches. So what should I do? Should I return it and get the HTGsupply lamp or would the 6 bulb actually be better?
