So i just typed loads and it got deleted so excuse me if im blunt. but basically i have a few plants one being the white widow below and their at about 3 weeks and im wondering when to flower. obviously not yet, but ive read when the plant is 12 inches high and ive heard 3-4 nodes. this is the smallest plant ive got but has the most nodes and is the furthest along, its just small hahah :)

so basically what im asking is how far does this seem from being able to flower, and i know veg time can be unlimited but i mean for a standard plant :)

Thanks in advance :leaf::leaf::leaf:

P.S: sorry the pictures sucks!

Was it grown from seed or cutting ?
how tall is your flower room?
seedlings need more veg time than cuttings, seedlings can flower from around the 4th node or around fourth week , depending on strain , cuttings can go straight into 12/12 from rooting , but they will be small ...... hope this helps , i grow cheese, i grow them to a metre from cuttings and they finish up at least double that in height =)

its really up to you when to flower but i'd say a standard time is 30-40 days, depends on the grower, how much height u have or how much yeild u want ect

EDIT: and what bloomfields said about cutting/seedlings is spot on

Im running a 400w MH/HPS setup in a 1x1x2m tent
i would give it another week , take some clones, bang it on 12/12, use it as a dummy run , then next time you can gauge it perfectly .....sounds like a plan =)
1 of your cuttings could be a mother plant (Y)

when taking cuttings, do i just cut a branch from one of the nodes? i know the process just not exactly where to take them from.

it would take me ages to exsplain the whole cutting process , but i will tell you this , when you first attempt it , it seems real daunting but its real easy , here is what i do,

i never take a cutting below node 4, unless plant is fully matured
take a cutting from any healthy looking branch, make your incesion angled so it has a wider surface to take
i use root riot cubes never had 1 fail(i did when i used soil or rockwool
i always sit them in rain water(changed daily)
i always use clonex rooting gel as it never fails and is very affordable
everyone does things there way , this is just my way
good luck tho ........Peace ...
