Never grown the strains but every strain is diff from others.
Some take 8-9 weeks some take longer 10-14 weeks. Like captain said let nature take its course.

8-9 weeks to show signs of flowering? or u mean to finish . the pure kush says 9 weeks flowering to finish on the website, same with the great white shark, but the great white shark has yet to show signs :( so i guess its just gonna take longer.

no .. to finish .. in general .. Indica strains and indican dominatet strains take around 8 weeks to finish flowering .. roughly ..
wile some stavia straings take up to 16 weeks or so .. most I belive is 12+ .. dunno I like my kush/Indican plants for indoors ..

you can also grow Autos .. no need to worry about light leakes or light time .. 60+ days to finish from seed .. but yild less then half ..

I belive I read some wher that you can cut light even more (etc. 11/13) to force flowering to plants that "refuse" to flower ..

ill try switching the lights to 11/13 if it doesnt show signs in a few more days i guess. will that stress my other one into a hermy tho?

I have a plant that did the same thing sort of. It is the older plant by 30 days and 20 days behind in flowering. lol. But It's starting to actually flower up now. So just be patient and appreciate the good looking one until the other one is flowering too.

thanks for the reply :D i have a feeling its taking longer to flower because its waaaay more bushier than my other one. the other one is like a stick compared to it lol. but its a stick with hairs! so its more pleasing to my eyes :D

probably just the type of pheno from that seed takes longer to induce flowering, I would just wait it out you already know its a female and not only because its fem seeds but males show signs before females. so just be patient.. Im tossing the idea of shortening the hours of light every 15 min, I've done this in the past when stressed for time and want the LAST couple of weeks to finish faster but I'm thinking if you start lowering the hours of light at such an early stage will this just progress your buds faster and not be able to get the full potential yeild? You said this is your first time with this strain so you need to let her do her thing see the potential and then adjust things if you think its for the better. Good luck!

thanks you John! Not only is this my first grow with this strain, its my first grow ever :P And im glad ive made it this far lol. ill just let her do her thing for like the next week maybe, and if it doesnt show any signs, ill start shortening the hours of light by 15mins.

also you have to take into account the fact that estimated flowering times dont always account for the transition time between veg and flower which can be up to 2 weeks. The estimated flowering times often refer to the number of days from when they are showing that they are in flower and not referring to the amount of days from when you switch light cycles. Basically be patient with it and dont worry AT ALL about what an "estimated flowering time" is, instead rely on keeping an eye on the plants to tell when they are finished.

I have GWS flowering now. It took about two and a half weeks to flower. It seemed like one day nothing and the next day the flowers just appeared out of nowhere. Hang in there. I grow a few different strains and they all flower on their own time schedule. At this point all you can do is wait. It's kinda like going shopping with your Mom. She will be done when she is good and ready. LOL!!:bigjoint:
