Flowering Question

I'm growing Northern Lights feminized (from seed) in FoxFarm Ocean Forest mix. I'm using FoxFarm nutrients, and I'm following the FoxFarm recommended feeding schedule. I'm using a 400-watt MH light. I plan to begin flowering when nodes start "alternating". Can anyone give me as estimate of plant height, and/or which week, when alternating nodes should begin occuring (Northern Lights)?

Thanks for your help.

yeah, with your light i would flower around a foot tall. try topping at 9 inches or so, then letting veg 1-2 more weeks and flower

your grow space will determine how much you can grow. you should decide what kind of pruning method you'll use to get the most out of the light you have. forget ablout leaf arrangement. let the plant worry about that.

To echo danny, you should be more concerned about height restrictions and useful light penetration as it pertains to your plant/wattage. In other words, your vegging is entirely centered around what you think the stretch will be and how you can maximize yield with the amount of light you have. With 400w, I would not let the plant get much taller before swithing to 12/12
